Everytime I use the Landscape mixer it crashes, I get the following message ''photoshop has closed this function due to an error'', been like that since to upgrade, I've reported it to Adobe but nothing, no reply, no bug fix,, I'm starting to get annoyed and very frustrated with it
It may have turned our subject into a 'weird penguin' but we think the Landscape Mixer could have some pretty cool and useful applications for compositing! What do you think? Do you use any other Neural Filters in your own projects? Let us know so we can check them out!
Heyyy... stopping in to say that after trying it, my results are REALLY really bad. The images are unrecognizable as anything resembling a landscape. Did you have any similar experiences, or does it just work for the Phlearn team? Thanks!
I think I appreciated the artistry of old compositing (like your image & video of the kid and the monster in the alleyway) more than I do these "one click" manipulations.. I feel like it breeds a sort of laziness, but I understand why people will gravitate towards it. Personally, as a real estate photographer, I do appreciate the sky replacement feature, so who am I to judge?
Wouldn't it be possible to use the Super Resolution Neural filter to greatly improve the detail on the Landscape mixer layer? I use gigapixel AI but doesn't the photoshop filter work the same way?
WHAT!!!! This is crazy. It is amazing. Amazing art work will be able to be created using this feature. I am looking forward to overworking the tool and blending all the seasons into one photo, just to find out that looks as good as a highly sharpened image. But it is official; a photo can never be trusted again.
Sadly some people are experiencing problems with the landscape mixer including myself, it crashes and we get an error message. i understand Adobe are trying to fix it.

When I use this filter it ads parts of the preset image into the picture and makes my photo look like a painting. I am not getting the same results as we see in this video

Great video as always Aaron, also with the Landscape mixer, you can use your own source image by clicking on the custom tab at the top of the Landscape Neural filter and selecting your source landscape image. :)
First and foremost I want to thank you for all the great videos! I've been following you for years. I do have a quick question about Adobe Photoshop. I have the newest version I downloaded about a week ago. Now once I got the new version I had just done a thousand picture portrait session and I really needed the neuro filters. At that point I found out that they weren't working anymore. So I looked online and they said download an older version I went back and tried six different older versions and none of those will now work! So then after that I fully uninstalled Photoshop that didn't work so then I uninstalled Photoshop, Lightroom, Adobe Creative Cloud and every other Adobe software off my computer reset it and then re-downloaded everything. And yet my neuro filters are still not working. They said that they have been disabled at the moment. I think that's a little ridiculous as much money as I spend for the whole package of adobe and then the one thing I need doesn't work for my workflow to be completed

Maybe it is worth for composings, but I am afraid in the near future you can't decide if it's a real shot or a manupilated picture :-[

Doesn't the results of the neural filter depend on the resolution of the source image that is being used to apply to the working image?
This takes too long for me. My internet too slow and Photoshop froze up.

I'm liking the AI aspect/software; but Neural filter isn't there yet. I really enjoy using Luminar 4....SKIES, etc.

Good gimmicks but a long way to go before they are really usable but it is early days.
