It's crazy because you as a person is saying the ppl in your life is not of importance and the thing is when ppl ignore their family in a occasion like this when something happen they run to the same family for help. So be wise in your thinking
@@wiser0185If they are family they should understand and accept their decisions. nobody gets to tell you how you live your married life, therefore no one should get to tell you how to get married either. If they had a wedding to please ppl there’s a chance they would have ended up with a day that didn’t feel right to them. If you listen to what they said it didn’t feel right. To equate eloping with not caring for your friend and/or family is a major leap. They just wanted an intimate wedding dont make it that deep.
Still watching the video but because you may not get upset doesn't mean others shouldn't. If you have family and close friends especially, you want to celebrate with them just like how you'ld be there for them in their time of need/support so not far-fetched if their family and friends were upset. (Again haven't watched so maybe some were represented but yeah allow pple to be upset cos their dynamics with their loved ones may differ from yours, as long as it's all good intentions).

Yes!!! The best wedding I had the honour of attending was 30 guests. Genuinely enjoyed EVERY moment with the bride AND groom and the other 29 guests!

Standing your ground and keeping it intimate is definitely the way to go for me. Too many times family members are getting involved with their opinions and you are either forced to invite distant family members that you would never otherwise see, neighbours etc. or forced to put up with their judgment. The day is about you and your forever person and nobody else should cast a shadow on that.

That says it all! Glad you guys did not waste a lot of money on people you do not like anyway. I've been to so many weddings with brides crying, yelling family members and two times even a physical fight. Weddings can bring out the best and the worst in people. The most important thing is for you, as a couple, to enjoy your day. You guys had a great time and that's all that matters matters 🎉

I love this and love watching you guys chose to do it this way! Just gorgeous! 😍🤩 I’m blessed to have everyone show up for us…but my dream was to do destination just me and the hubby. It was a lot of stress, because people just don’t want to behave and I’m very chill low key and not a bridezilla or drama queen. Unfortunately other people weren’t. It was a week long crazy situation of 122 people. About 5 of them made it very hard behind the scenes. One was my sister. Never again. 😅 Good thing I married a great guy and we are happy!
Awhhh I’m so sorry. all that matters is that you are happy with your husband. I can’t believe how some people would behave when it comes to their friends or family’s big day. The same people go crazy about their birthdays that happens once a year lol but can’t behave for someone’s wedding.
