Thanks man, really hoping to get a solid launch down. Have you seen the wheelie box for the cycle analyst someone made? Thinking of implementing this, and the extended swingarm. Once I dial the field weakening in I do have some high hopes for it. Even as it is though it’s enough to fill my fun factor for such a small bike.

Btw the cycle analyst combined with the cycle analogger GPS 10hz is a really nice tool! I use it on my sur ron that i also combined with the Draggy. I watched alot of dragtime video racing the Plaid and that draggy became the tool i needed to buy!
@@BuildItTuneItEV my friend Luke ( aka liveforphysics) bought the Fardriver 2400Amp. I am quite curious about the performance when combined with some modidied 75-10 zero motor.
Oh I know, it’s my favorite tool (The cycle analyst). I have it on almost every other build. Just this one I was trying to keep the hud clean. I have used the throttle ramp feature crudely previously to help launching. I actually picked up a usb ttl cable for my android and log the CA to a xml file and then can import it into megalog viewer for data analysis! I was spoiled previously with this bike as I had the ASI controller and could log with bacdoor. Do you mind shooting me an email with what wheelie piggyback your using? Both for better launching and as well safety I would love to pick one up. My email is mikemodsebikes@gmail.com or it’s in my about section. I would absolutely greatly appreciate it. Thanks for watching and commenting. Love watching your videos!
Im planning on doing a 12kw 17" wheel on something I want a 12 or 13 wheel on just for the higher speed with a hub motor rpm limit. Are you able to 90mph on that 12" wheel. Only need 90mph for a few seconds for video bragging rights. My plan was a QS260 12kw with a ND961800
What’s your first impressions of the fardriver 1800amp vs the bac8k, way more power? How about the power curve and smoothness? For the motor heating up did you use regen breaking? that’ll have a huge effect on the motor heating up, you can buy aftermarket adapters for this bike to run larger rotors to rely less on regen ~ also awesome that they also offer the 1800amp fardriver (and others) in 96v big plus over asi imo.
The ASI is the better controller without any doubt. In every way, except for the fact it’s only a 450 battery amp and 850 phase amp controller. This is 800/1800 so it’s double the power. So to answer your question, yes it’s more powerful. Mainly because it’s rated at double the power. It’s no where as smooth as the Bac. Even just running the base map from them. I’ve gotten it better, how ever the asi right out of the gate was smoother, more features. If the Bac had 800 battery amps, I would toss this controller in the trash can. The heat is happening during the pulls, it’s rated for 12KW of power (the motor) so dumping in 4x that it generates heat. So doing 4 back to back passes at 50kw warmed the motor. It was only to 80c. So not dangerous but just warm. For a Chinese controller it’s not the worst, but it’s far from the ASI, maybe once I learn the controller more I can make it better, but with the horrible documentation it’s going to just take trial and error. The shift from no flux to flux is not very smooth at all. You could not even feel this on the bac.
@@BuildItTuneItEV thanks for the detailed reply! Yes it seems asi is the best for features, only other thing that could beat it programability wise could be a controller that runs on the VESC software ~ controllers like the flipsky 75100 and others designed for ebikes may take over in the coming years.
Bro I love everything you've been doing with your company big fan we have the same car and same bike I want that egrom I need to build one do you have any more parts for sale and can I come pick them up I'm in Florida as well

You're at 72v and 100ah or 100a discharge? What does that battery look like and how much would something like that cost? Highest-rated I could find is 34ah with 400a discharge and that's a 2k+ battery. Could you explain. Thanks 👍
Not for this power level, I would look into facebook.com/groups/629320841349493 They offer 0.5MM copper, fast shipping, and can build you what you want. Cheaper than most.
Love your videos! been watching all of your grom updates. Now over the summer i got mine (Same color too) and I plan to upgrade it over the winter time. I was wondering if i could provide you the specs/parts I'm looking at and what I could be looking at in terms of speed/mileage. Controller: SIAECOSYS SVMC72150 V2 Sabvoton Controller 72V 150A with CT-22 Display (would replace the display that's on there now) Battery: Either 72v 60ah or 72v 70ah with 150A BMS Motor: I plan to keep the stock one on as I've been told from several redditors that you can program the motor to handle a higher wattage. I was told 8000w was the sweet spot without overheating anything. I'm very excited for this build and I would assume it would reach 50+ mph. I also wanted to ask if you worried about replacing the brakes and also what are the measurements of the battery compartment at the bottom of the bike in case I need to have my battery pack customized in shape. Last question, got a new link for that discord group of yours? would love to join! Thanks and hope to hear from you soon!
hey come check out Discord with me discord.gg/4QVZJsNG Thanks for the comment, I ran about 100-120 amp on the factory motor and would see about 60mph when using field weakening. The motor winding wont allow you to go much past 45 or so without on 72V. So it becomes inefficient how ever I had no problems at that power, I pushed 10kw to it a few times, so yes it can take it :) I removed the oem battery box and did a custom one, how ever I have the stock battery box in the garage I can measure for you! Join the discord and we can chat in length about your project. I would be happy to help in anyway.
@@BuildItTuneItEV Hopefully this can help me, I have a well modified motorcycle... but the battery is not giving me the performance. I have to change the BMS. @Build It, Tune It. EV. Nice man! Which one are you upgrading to? I was going to try the nd841800 I saw they have a race version but can't find any sellers..
I do plan on taking it for the content. How ever the actual numbers won’t be any different than the dragy. This tool is very accurate, it’s not a free gps app. It’s an actual performance data logger hardware device. We use it in the race cars for testing before events. It’s always almost exact. But I agree, it will be cool! Much safer as well, not really loving going this fast out on the street. It’s in the middle of no where but still.
Are you using field weakening because you could go 110 mph with that power? Also because you can push alot of phase amps you would need motor with low winding turns if you already don't have.
Flux was not on past 1000 rpm just set to 5% also was only testing to the eighth. I’ve been to 105 mph on my old controller, waiting to hit the dyno to dial in controller before doing any full power runs. I already run the max rpm winding for my voltage, they said they could not do a lower turn. Should be much more fun once dialed in fully, just waiting until I get time to put in dyno. I tune drag cars for a living and we have just been busy with car events this month. Soon I’ll get it done!
I am rolling into it, I have that extended swing arm which you may have seen in background of some of my other videos. Just waiting to have it tig welded. Hopefully tomorrow I can dial In more of the tune and make a full 1/4 mile pass. I might take it to the drag strip, not sure yet.

Is this something that’s necc for the new swing arm? Or something else like brakes ?
So I have the motor the controller and battery built. Should I run a contactor of some sort of just a 400 amp fuse?. I max out at 360 amps with my current setup.
