Holy crap, that entrance building! I always admire full zoos so much, the attention to detail and attention span is to be admired. And hot diggity dang, that "very first enclosure in the game" is unreal? Such a good park, love the spotlight thanks for sharing!
The Asian pieces in this game are so good, but I think my favourite area in this zoo was the Indian area! Nice job Welfare, thanks for letting Matty tour your zoo. It was very interesting to see my first console zoo tour :)
What an eye-grabbing entrance!!! It has an inviting presence - great build! I really appreciate the realism aspects of this zoo, it feels like a real life zoo tour! I love the foliage usage especially those gorgeous cherry blossom trees in the AsIan area- simply stunning! I wish I could walk along that cherry blossomed tree pathway in real life! Great zoo spotlight Matty! Wonderful job Welfare!!! ☮️ & ❤️ - Smiling 🙂 I love the different themed area - each one really compliments the animals in those areas!
Amazing zoo! Loved the customization down to the education boards for the habitats. Also, Matty, I tried watching showcases from other you tubers but always get motion sick from their camara work. Your calm camera movement made this spotlight so enjoyable. 😊
Yes you can tell the Asian theme is more advanced and the zoo looked amazing !! Made a Siberian tiger habitat as you seen today so good job it’s your fave !
Nice work Welfare! Good/interesting/enjoyable to see that we all go through the same learning experience. Lovely that you are going to feed tigers for your 40th, enjoy. (My wife gifted me a dolphin feeding here in the Netherlands when I got fourty.) My first zoo is in franchise mode and currently at 40%, I'd love you to showcase that when I'm done with it. Regards
The orange canid in the Indian-themed section is a actually a dhole or Asian wild dog which is larger than the red fox which is being released later this month as part of the twilight pack for the console edition.
I struggle with custom building so much, ESPECIALLY the roofs, and I have to say that I absolutely LOVE how they did the thatch roofing, especially with elaphant enclosure ❤ definitely have to try that now!!
@IronMatty the more I invest myself in the game, the more I find myself looking at random businesses and houses to see how they shape/design parts 😅 kinda creepy when people don't know why you're staring so I hard at little business, but whatever lol 😂
The antelope in the wetland themed enclosure on its own is the Nile lechwe which is a semi-aquatic species of antelope in which the males are a very dark shade of brown while the females are a very pale shade of brown.
The pig-like animal in the Asian-themed section of the zoo is actually the North Sulawesi babirusa. The wild boar is part of the Eurasia pack though at the moment, it isn't known when that will get added to the console version of the Planet Zoo.
Question, have you tried the PC version of Planet Zoo? It provides much more freedom in building zoo areas and exhibits, the ability to set up custom billboards and even more animals, especially those from the Conservation DLC. Australia DLC, and especially the Grasslands DLC.
i dont own a pc but i did buy a steamdeck to play zoo on, it was very optimised and ive never really been a pc gamer so i struggled with the M&K aspect of the contols, im a lot more comfortable with the controller
In the PC version of Planet Zoo, all of the camelids in the ability to spit. Since the console edition has all of the free updates that were around since the Oceania pack, the domestic Bactrian camel has the ability to spit at the public.
It‘s a wonderful zoo and how big it is. Great job.😊I’m looking forward to the next tour. Thx Matty! I have a question, maybe you can help me. How can you turn off the UI on the console? Is there a key combination?
The tiger in the Zoo is actually the Bengal tiger which has a preference for grassland and tropical plants along with temperate plants. The Siberian tiger on the other hand, has a preference for taiga and temperate plants and is larger and fluffier than the Bengal tiger.
Wow that zoo is beautiful, its so detailed, what are the chances that my zoo that im working on right now is a only asian zoo with all the asian animals and a asian design😂😂

we expect nothing less from welfare!

Yes you can tell the Asian theme is more advanced and the zoo looked amazing !! Made a Siberian tiger habitat as you seen today so good job it’s your fave !

The orange canid in the Indian-themed section is a actually a dhole or Asian wild dog which is larger than the red fox which is being released later this month as part of the twilight pack for the console edition.
I will learn them all one day!
I struggle with custom building so much, ESPECIALLY the roofs, and I have to say that I absolutely LOVE how they did the thatch roofing, especially with elaphant enclosure ❤ definitely have to try that now!!
I hate roofing as well lol, it’s definitely my Achilles heel
@IronMatty the more I invest myself in the game, the more I find myself looking at random businesses and houses to see how they shape/design parts 😅 kinda creepy when people don't know why you're staring so I hard at little business, but whatever lol 😂
@@rileycorwin9621 hahaha welcome to the planet games! That’s what we all do - anything can be used as inspiration!
Finally the Planet Zoo floodgates are open👍
Loved this zoo, so much to see
Yeah fr
Yours will be coming next week!!!
The large mixed African hoofstock paddock actually has Cape buffalos rather than bisons which are the cattle near the entrance.
As I said I’m still learning lol
The antelope in the wetland themed enclosure on its own is the Nile lechwe which is a semi-aquatic species of antelope in which the males are a very dark shade of brown while the females are a very pale shade of brown.
There is no way I’m gonna remember all of this!
The antelope enclosure seems to have sable antelopes, springboks and Thomson's gazelles. Springbok are brighter coloured than Thomson's gazelles.
lol u can become my animal bible full of knowledge
The pig-like animal in the Asian-themed section of the zoo is actually the North Sulawesi babirusa. The wild boar is part of the Eurasia pack though at the moment, it isn't known when that will get added to the console version of the Planet Zoo.
I hope it gets added soon!

If u have a keyboard u hold the right SHIFT CTRL and G

So many comments to reply to lol
Matty how you are all doing well. the zoo is fantastic for a zoo. I have a problem with my theme park
It really is so good!
A group of flamingos is actually called a flamboyance.
Oh go figure! I didn’t know that!
Wow that zoo is beautiful, its so detailed, what are the chances that my zoo that im working on right now is a only asian zoo with all the asian animals and a asian design😂😂
Well well well, that is a zoo I’ll def need to look at!
How do you spotlight zoos?

All the Jurassic park referencing lol (nobody tell him about fonteir’s Jurassic world evolution 2)
Hang on what? Frontier really spared no expense
Great zoo

You could use albino bears and pandas as polar bears some day
200IQ play right there!
@@IronMatty I used it and it really worked
Are you a Stoke fan?
I’m not I’m afraid, even though I’m from Stoke originally I don’t like or follow football at all. I don’t support anyone
