- Let's talk about Planet Zoo and what DLCs I would release leading up to the end of support for PC! This first video covers three packs in 2024.

Idc what anyone says. Planet Zoo will never be complete without the WALRUS, a few more monkeys, the White Tail Deer, and American Black Bear.
Don't forget the coyote 🐺
Also including macaws in the walkthrough exhibit will boost sales.

OR adding Manatees or Sharks or Dolphins to exhibits - they already have Seals and Sea Lions in the game
OR raising the waterline in exhibits - axolots and newts are semi aquatic - why not raise the waterline and give us fish? Seahorses? Jellyfish?

Dang man, I actually think that logic is quite sound with how this is structured, skipping the start of year scenery pack gets us to an animal pack, amazing, it makes sense that Console Edition, much like JWE2's JP30 update would take the slot of a DLC and then we would get another in the next season, and here's me holding out hope for April, but it would seem unlikely. But overall some solid packs, I would like to propose my versions of these.
Latin America Animal Pack:
South American Coati (Flagship)
Black Howler Monkey
Ocelot
Greater Rhea
Patagonian Mara
Bush Dog
Southern Tamandua
Macaws (WE) Species: Hyacinth, Scarlet, Military, Blue-and-Yellow and Red-and-Green Macaws.
As fun as a Petting Zoo Pack would be, I feel as though it would take away from potentially a better pack. So I would like propose this one instead.
Pacific Northwest Pack:
Sea Otter (Flagship)
Roosevelt Elk
American Black Bear
Northern Elephant Seal
Hummingbirds (WE)
The Nile Crocodile I think would be a solid anniversary animal
Alpine Animal Pack:
Markhor (Flagship)
Spectacled Bear
Gelada
Goodfellow's or Matschie's Tree Kangaroo
Pallas's Cat
Yak or Muskox
Golden Pheasant or Himalayan Monal
Chinese Giant Salamander is just the perfect exhibit animal for this one
The pony and the biet pigs are so pretty, i love them! it would so cool to do trail rides around the zoo in the shetland pony for the kids, such a good add instead of the tour option, that is more for adults
I know it might be unrealistic and unlikely, but I think Frontier should release an animal pack that is larger than the others as a list of animals wanted by popular demand. Perhaps one animal that was in the running for each of the previous packs that didn't make the cut for the finla releases.

Australia Pack: Echidna
Aquatic Pack: Pacific Walrus
Southeast Asia Pack: Lion-Tailed Macaque

Eurasia Pack: Japanese Serow
Just a few ideas, I'm sure this could easily be reworked in some way. Like the lists you have
I had this idea back when we were still around 8 DLCs! I called it the "What Was Missing Animal Pack" lol. I would love to see something like that still happen, there's actually a slightly similar idea in my next video.

I’m thankful we got the Petting Zoo pack we just did, it was almost perfect. Maybe Jersey Cows would have been better since it would’ve been more unique, but I agree if they do more than 1 more pack at least that important group of animals is out of the way.
in Frontiers January finance report, they did say there was going to be one more PDLC before the end of the fiscal year - I never expected the console edition to take its place, though that might be me being naive.
Oh that's right I forgot about the finance report...maybe the next DLC could come at a slightly awkward time? Later than usual for spring but earlier than usual for summer, to still give it some space from Console Edition. Not sure, when writing this video I remembered the JWE2 update that replaced a DLC, so I wanted to bring up the possibility.
@@shaununiverse FY1 ends May 31 - so unless they lied, we ARE getting dlc before May 31 100%
if this is the last dlc, I am speechless...the amount of packs Frontier would have left on the table is mind blowing....the amount of money being ignored is a fireable offence

I love the Alpine idea and especially the Yak!
For the Latin America pack, I would swap out a couple of species:
I would swap out the South American coati for the white-nosed coati for the sake of habitat/continent diversity and broader species enrichment: the white-nosed coatis range starts in the southwestern United States through Central America and into South America. I can see it get interspecies enrichment with the Baird's tapir, capybara, and collared peccary.
I would swap the roseate spoonbill for the red-legged seriema. Roseate spoonbills are a popular and iconic AVIARY species, not an open air exhibit species. I have personally seen red-legged seriema at Charles Paddock Zoo mixed with the Patagonia mara and tortoises. According to the AZA manual for the red-legged seriema, they have been successfully mixed with the capybara, collared peccary, and giant anteater, among others.
I would replace the black howler for the common or Guianan squirrel monkey because they are very well represented in both the U.S. and Europe.
I agree with ever other species you mentioned.
Fun fact: I have a coyote mod in Planet zoo because I want coyotes in Planet zoo so bad. I will keep it until coyotes finally come to Planet zoo.
I need that 2025 video stat this is a very good video and I wanna see more the only thing I kinda wanted in the Latin America pack was the green anaconda but the macaws make it up

Most of my dlc ideas have invertebrates, aquatic animals, and small reptiles especially tuataras
Petting zoo pack needs sheep and pigs imo. Could have it as an animal pack with Guinea pigs as the exhibit
They should also add a bird pack and an aquarium pack. Every animal in bird pack or in aquarium pack will be an exhibit animal.
I want the North American forest pack: coyote, bobcat, American black bear, whitetail deer, and an exhibit animal: eastern gray squirrel.
Can mammals go in exhibits?

For Alpine, I would love Pygmy owls. They had bats in the nocturnal pack, but no owls?
The nocturnal pack isn't a thing it's called the twilight pack and the owl isn't a Habitat animal it's a walk through but the Egyptian fruit bat was the best walk through habitat so maybe there will be owls like the snowy owl or Dwarf owl or The barn owl or great horned owl?

Love the video! Personally, I hate petting zoos, but they're such an integral part of making a zoo look and feel realistic, I'd say its an almost necessary pack.
Why do you dislike Petting zoos?
@@Toadey2012I never really had the chance to go to zoos as a kid so I can't say how I felt about them then. But I come from a farming background so I've dealt with most of the animals (or at least animals close enough lol) featured in petting zoos to not be interested in them since I've dealt with them daily. My favorite part of a zoo is the African section, I've always loved African hoofstock personally.

in the petting zoo pack, the guinea pigs could work in a walk through exhibit, with some cute animations between guests and animal. another alternative for the exhibit animal in a petting zoo pack could be a chinchilla, chipmunk, or my favourite - the red squirrel.
my latin america pack would replace the rhea the squirrel monkey (yes its a second primate of the pack, but we dont have enough south american primates)
I would also prefer to see the scarlet ibis, as its more colourful than the spoonbill.
also prefer the patagonian mara instead of the pudu.... sorry pudu

Nah the walrus is way too popular to use as an anniversary animal. It would come in a DLC - it's in my 2025 video.

Your packs lack a Canine species. Considering you have 2 Feline species with the Ocelot and Pallas's Cat, while i would be nice to have the Pallas, i think swapping it out for the Ethiopian Wolf is better, since Frontier likes to alternate between them in packs as well.
Good point! I'm not personally wanting more canines so they slipped my mind. I'd love to see the bush dog and tanuki come in somehow, though.
so since their going to stop supporting pc edition does that mean they will be working on making a totally different game or what? because i know in most cases thats exactly what happens

@@spencerhenry800 I don't think we'll be getting the next DLC until June and they always announce pretty close to release. Happy to be proven wrong tho

No no NO!!! WE CAN'T HAVE THE PETTING ZOO PACK? why? Because animal names are the human names that are from countries these animals are from. For example: you will see a west african lion named Simba. Or a grizzly bear named John. Simba is a Swahili name, and it means lion, and John is an English name. You won't see a grizzly bear named Simba (unless you are playing in Franchise mode, because you will find animals that were named by other players).
I don't see why this is an issue lmao - they would have names based on where the breed originates from!
@@shaununiverse or maybe they could have every name in planet zoo, because most petting zoo animals (goats, chickens, pigs etc) are found worldwide.

I don't like domestic animals on this game, because, for some reason you can put them in the wild when this is something terrible for wild animals
