Nice review. The Tipping Point is an extraordinary album for all the things you said. To come back after so long with an album of such breath taking quality is unprecedented. There isn't a bad song on the album. Like yourself, my favourite track keeps changing, I'm currently mesmurised by the song Long Long Long Time which is sung by Curt. I also love how Roland asked Curt to sing the ballad Please Be Happy, because he kept breaking down when attempting to sing it. You got one thing wrong though, Masterplan is sung by Roland not Curt. Their voices can be so similar though. I love how a couple of the songs are sung by both Roland and Curt, like title track and Break The Man. It's also nice to have a female singer singing the chorus on Long Long Long Time. I've loved TFF since I first heard Mad World in 82. Seeds Of Love is my favourite album of all time, in my opinion The Tipping Point comes second in the list of all best TFF albums.
It’s like we say an extraordinary album . How many bands from the 80s could have made a record like this . The more I listen to it the better it becomes .
Good band Mike, not a favourite but their best work is brilliant. Will look out for it. Thanks for highlighting this, any recommendation from you is worth taking up.
Will listen to the album :-)
