Moonsorrow have been one of my very favorite bands since around 2003, so it was great to see you interview them. I have been fortunate to get to chat with Ville (twice!) and Mitja during their American tours. But the last time was in 2012, when they toured with Tyr, Metsatoll, and Korpiklaani. I hope they can return to the USA soon! BTW, privately, not on camera, they are pretty much just like they were here.

Although Moonsorrow is one of my favorite bands ever (I was actually introducing it to some friends last night concidencially), the interview is really great, but somehow they didn't really "sell their product" so well.
Moonsorrow interviews are pretty rare comparing to many bands, so maybe they could have tried to explain themselves in a bit more attractive way.
Answering short shots to big general questions is a bit disappointing, because Moonsorrow have such gigantic titans of songs that would be awesome to be described by the bandmembers point of view.
Nevertheless, great chat with the guys, so happy to have seen them again after a big silent gap, and I cross my finger for a good release post or update.

Thanks for the comment, Roberto. I understand what you mean. Can't speak on their behalf, but I guess they just show some genuine Finnish mentality being down to earth, level-headed and not cocky about the music they do. That's why they are so "not attractive" in their way of "not selling their music". Very Finnish style.

I realized our metal festivals suck (the U.S.) compared to Scandinavian festivals. For a good metal fest I would travel clear across the United states if it ever happened. And you guys have so many - What's up with that!!!
We don't have that sunshine and the beaches. Gotta make up for that.
