I know I wouln'd have been able. I have been watching him a lot lately and the things I try to really take in is how he changes from a pretty clear choice to a different color route when he gets the right cards
I never draft anymore because I prefer constructed. But I tell you if I was in Kenji's shoes, I would have rare drafted every single one passed to me. Holy crap it was like he was opening 20 packs instead of six. Truly my dream draft.
@@edh_alters7116 I'm a 100% free to play on arena and I draft regularly. There is no excuse to draft poorly or pick a rare when it's bad. That excuse of picking the rare is usually only valid on paper magic where the rare is actually expensive.
@@ViXoZuDo Well - I might draft a mythic rare that's usable in a constructed deck I'm planning on making while not usable in that articular draft but other than that I agree. After all you can't trade the arena cards at all. And I haven't spent any "real world money" on arena and still have enough wildcards to craft almost any deck I'd like playing - but perhaps not all the decks I'd like playing. I did spend some gold on LotR mythic packs - did get some good rares but still I sort of regret it.. Would be better to spend the gold on drafts - probably. I do realize that spending a fraction of what one might spend on actual dead trees cards would fund whatever you want in the arena but I don't want to do that. I guess I should draft enough to get the gems for mastery passes at least - I'we been mostly playing constructed and jump ins and drafting almost only when I get discount draft token from the shop.. But I guess I should be confident in my knowledge of the cards enough to enter a draft or a few by now.
This looks like a very rewarding format once mastered, but the learning curve is steep. I have no clue what to do while picking, and that never occured to me in years. Right now I can't get beyond 3-3, but that's on me.
I've just been taking any rare I see in this set and building 3 color piles that work surprisingly well. Sets been weird but fun.
42:41 Vorinclex stuck on the opponent's side
17:22 Him not taking the second vorinclex hurt my soul…
To be fair, it isn't a good limited card
Great drafting! Loved the pack 2 decisions! Not everyone would have done the same. 👍

Nummy, at around 42:30 why did you wait for first strike damage to resolve before buffing Vorinclex?

it's arena... money doesn't matter... you pick the best card to win.
@@ViXoZuDo I disagree. I don't have the money, time, or patience to draft properly. I'll keep my money and play historic brawl, thanks.

Bro that's the set's entire tagline
“Going five-color…not really viable.”
The inside of your sweatshirts look so comfortable esp. in close games where you cover most of your face with them lol. Good beats!
R/G Archetype is battles, attacking them and flipping them
The old expression, two ships sailing in the night 😂
Fun to watch for Quick Drafts! Green Machine

RX stomps has seemed great to me so far
I'm loving the format. I'm a fan of the flashback cards though myself
five Blighted Burgeoning in my first draft of a 5 colour good stuff pile. The ramp was great.
1:12:15 to see a good black blue deck
R/G is supposed to be battle tribal. Has a bunch of creatures that get modded to help kill battles etc.
Phyrexian Praetor nutso busto in Limited, more at 11.
This set has a high power level!
Nice deck with sweet run💪💪💪
Great run. Fun deck. Thanks bro.
Currupt card 11:06 ?
Don't you know corrupted/toxic are one of the main mechanics of the set?
He just meant convoke, toxic was on the previous set, just a funny mistake 😊
flood, extreme flood, turn 4 WUBRG Battle;
off to a hot start
I'm getting PTSD from this format. I have gone 11 straight games losing the coin flip. Arena, I wanna go first sometimes too lol
Crazy format at times.
RG is attack battles FYI
Sweet deck!
Nummy! ❤
Sad you didn't flip the Vorinclex even once.
This set plays like a cube
glistening dawn, lordy
What the hell was going on in this draft??
oh no! does he ever realize the incubator tokens are transforms?
Since being on the play and curving out aren’t up to you, magic is 2/3 luck. Nice.
drafting this set has been a bit infurating tbh, and so many games go on for fucking ever.
Nummy thick 🥵
Format feels far too bomby so far. I havnt really enoyed it much, due to the number of times iv lost to some unbeatable beast hitting the battle
I don't enjoy the bonus sheet concept for limited. It has ruined games for me and make the draft process so much more complicated than it needs to be.
MOM
Cursed format... Openhiemer is skaking in his grave...
