To upgrade parry faster, just go to the original room you were in and let the dog run into you and the knight. It's much faster. Also for the helmsplitter, the same room, walk down to the middle of the stairs and do it, you will hit both.
I found that the long hallways in the beginning of the castle with all the bats that drop from the ceiling was reaally fast and easy to master the parry skill.
you can sneak to the roof on the first bat, just keep it far away, jump twice times and stand behind him, actually on its head. then pressing the parry command, it will automatically blocked.
To trigger the appearance of the book you need at least 98% map completion,i tested and it worked, then grab the book and go in the frozen area near the end then you'll get to fight him.
Bats and Dullahammer Heads are good for doing the party techniques, since you get loads of them. Bats are easy to reset, and the heads just spawn infinitely.
Gebel's Glasses makes this easy as hell. You can also farm technique mastery without standstill on the dullahammerheads in the waterway or other places they spawn infinitely.
Just go to a specific section in 8 bit nightmare that would spawn enemies endlessly, use invert, use standstill shard (optional stop time) & gebel's glasses (unlimited mana), rest equips are optional (like buffs & speed).
You can parry attack while in standstill, but mainly on enemies that their main form of attack is contact damage, like bats, you can do it in the area after the village, there's a bone morte and a bat right at the beginning, lure the bat so that you can hit it and the bone morte with the parry attack, standstill and be pixel perfect with the parry
You can also go to the room with the black and red dragon to level up fast. The max lv is 99. Miriam and my fairy are maxed out at 99 but I can't find all of the shards. I'm missing maybe 5. My demon list is 99.80% complete but I can't find demon #122 anywhere.
@@maxcantu608 so I figured out that I had to restart the game all over again for it to recognize Zangetso. I guess the new update kinda screwed things up but I now have all demons on the list. Also does anyone know where I can find spaghetti for the old woman?
Hurmm... Amazing idea I never realize about this, but it's too late for me because I already master all weapon technique. I thought it depend on how many enemy we kill with technique and not how many time we do the techniques on the single enemy..
Not sure if I am late to finding this out, but if you defeat OD, then go back to him after he gives you all 21 of his books! So u can have the technique, exp and luck ones all equipped.
You dont actually have to beat the game first. I'm right before the Dominque/Bael fight. Decided to go back to od when I had 99% of the map and the book appeared in shop and his boss room triggered in glacial tomb
Book lending limit and books available are dependent on map clear %. The final book shows at 90 or 99 %. I think it is 99% I just couldn't remember which of the 2 it was. But he definitely does more per the map completion.
@@tetsuo9999 Every source i've found says that you have to have completed the game (have a clear save) and map completion at 99% before the tome shows up, which lines up with my own experience with it. Wouldnt necessarily say that confirms it, as my experience with it is limited to one playthrough.
Final book showed up when I reached 99% map completion. After I took that final book, I went to the Glaciers map again, and then OD showed up to fight and was pissed that I haven't returned the books, and so the fight ensues. I was on Normal difficulty.
is it possible to do the Orbital Wheel on keyboard??? I don't have a controller... can't pull it off.... I can do Zangief's moves on SFV just fine though
Are all the techniques not coming out or is it just the technique you trying to perform not coming out? I can only think of 2 proper reasons why it doesn't come out, 1, you don't have enough Mana. 2, your inputs are off ( either too slow or not accurate )
Money is easy to make with augment gold at max. Pick a room with candles go in n out you will get millions in an hour. I did my money Grind in tower twin dragon in front of the save room. In one hr I was averaging over a million. Easy af.
John S it allows you to use the same technique for other weapons with the same type, otherwise you are only restricted to having said skill with its specific weapon

Giant rats are definitely easier, they walk straight into the parry.
Easier to max out parry skills with Axe Outsider in Glacial Tomb. You can parry the axes he throws.
and you can do it twice in every single throw he does
Great advice, thanks!

Tome of mastery is at 98% of the map complete.
Tome of conquest is at 99% of the map complete.
EDIT: fixed spelling and actual reality :D

Hey bro ty so much for your videos and for your hard work, have a good nite dude.

Also, the katana parry can hit multiple enemies horizontally, go to a place filled with enemies to maximum efficiency

i think 122 is True Zangetsu? I dont have my save open atm

Beat the game and have 98% of map complete for OD fight.
I was stuck at 99.80 for the longest time
You dont actually have to beat the game first. I'm right before the Dominque/Bael fight. Decided to go back to od when I had 99% of the map and the book appeared in shop and his boss room triggered in glacial tomb
what does the mastery on a tecnique? more damage?
Its not trigger randomly ... you need to have 99% of the map complete
You need 99% map coverage to unlock the Tome of Conquest, and you need the Tome of Conquest to trigger the O.D. fight.
You got to kill all the characters in the locked rooms, I had 99 % and he didn’t trigger until I beat the guys in the rooms
So how did you get the Castlevania damage text when you play on PS4?
Book lending limit and books available are dependent on map clear %. The final book shows at 90 or 99 %. I think it is 99% I just couldn't remember which of the 2 it was. But he definitely does more per the map completion.
Really? Has that been proven? Last I heard people were getting the Tome of Conquest to spawn at random times.

The OD fight is just 98% or more and the book appears.. you already have the power to stop time. He doesn't come out like that.
No to all that...
How come you have the standstill shard but you don't have the access to borrow all of the books?
NG+

What are those light blue sections on ur map? I googled it but found nothing and it's driving me crazy...😅
If you're on new game +, all of the map sections you've explored in your previous game will light up lightblue to show you where you've been before.
Jazz Faverey Thank you for explaining!! 😎😁
I did it the hard way lol. Stood infront of a buer knight and killed the buer only because he just spawns another.
Dumb question. What are the benefits of mastering techniques?, I've already finished the game without using even one of them.
you can unlock a secret move for valkyrie sword which is down down attack
if you master a technique you can use the said technique on all weapons of the same type and not just the ones you get them from.
@@lowkeyobsessedngl Thanks, very useful tip
@@SanNico plus you get more damage when you find openings in boss fights
How does this Techniques work? Like should I press the directions on my d-pad quickly while holding square or?
Remember Street Fighter?

i never thought of that
what does the lightblue colour means on ur map? my map is still darkblue

Whenever I try to use the techniques I do the proper button commands with the right weapons and it just doesnt do the techniques what am I doing wrong

This video helped me but it should have been 3 minutes in length at most.
you can bring a high jump shard in new game+? I'm still in 72% of the game?
Nope. You will also lose Double jump until you Beat the Boss again. High jump ist softlocked until you can craft it again.
The enemy's hp when hit was all pixelated. How did you get that?? Is that another skill item?
It's a visual mod on the PC version.

What shard is it that is making him dash quickly
Accelerator
Ohhhh, black panther soul...
Why you have the od shard yet the book you can lend only 2? :o
It's bugged.
@@tetsuo9999 so you kill the od but he didnt raise the lend limit?
It didn't trigger until a random point on my first playthrough and is doing the same thing again. Since I got it on the first run, I have it on NG+.
@@tetsuo9999 ahh lols
How did you get all of those skills?
The ones with on off switches? They are the passive shards when you max rank them they become permanent passives
why do you need to max the master on those??
John S it allows you to use the same technique for other weapons with the same type, otherwise you are only restricted to having said skill with its specific weapon
@@MH_Zard I never got why you would master them as the game doesn't say that (I think) but that does make it more of a reason to master them

Well, for me, i don't need any tech at all on hard. This is not street fighter games. Anyways, good guide for those who use tech moves for boss fight
Knives and spears are underutalized in regular combat and specialized.

It's a visual mod on the PC version. I also modded all the auras out and added PS4 buttons.
