I agree with this comment! Many of these fields are rigorous and if one doesn't have a specific role in a group of society, one can easily be lost in this large field. I'm going into BME in hopes of centering myself on the Speech pathology side. Currently working as a behavioral therapist, many of my clients have disorders that do not allow them to speak or communicate due to their cases. I'd like to find other ways to improve the resources needed for anyone in special needs communities to succeed.

I’m a biomedical engineer and when people ask me about my discipline I always say we are not doctors but we create tools and necessary means for the doctors to treat patients
This not only includes equipment but also things related to medicine and tissue engineering, immunology, all of the body implants and devices like heart valves, hearing aids, anything what doctors might need to use to treat the patient we are there to design it, improve it and create new better ways of doing it

im a fifth year biomedical student im from morocco as you may know or may not, morocco imports over 90% of its medical devices and equipements. and 90% of the demands is coming from public hospitals. and i could tell it's the same stats for most of the third world countries. so being able to manage and maintain sophisticated equipement is as valubal for these countries as RD is for developed countries. all of it benefits the humanity.
i would like to thank you for the effort you are putting through this channel and i wish you a great succes with both carears biomed and youtube

I’ve been interested in biomedical engineering as a degree for a few months now due to a college tour, but had an interest in the field and concept for longer. I kinda want to work on things like CAR T-cell therapies for leukemia or possibly something similar for other blood disorders. That technology helped to save my brother, and I have a thing where I want to be able to help develop solutions if someone I care about has a problem. I’m still kinda figuring it out right now but know this is the direction I want to go. I live in an area that is pretty research based due to some universities with hospitals so I’m trying to figure out the job outlook.

#CRAZYMEDUSA I am in my high school right now. And am not too specific about my area of interest but I am sure that it would be related to bio and chemistry. I like maths but not too good at it , like not always but with some topics like trigonometry anol. I am not sure weather biomedical engineering suits me. But thank you so much for all your effort and knowledge. Helped me a lot

This was amazing! Thank you #crazymedusa. I have a huge passion to learn how to find a way to work in the field of engineering stem cell research as for others like myself with neurological damage. I would also love to learn more about musculoskeletal biomechanics as it is my aim to not only restore function in my leg, but for others like myself to create a more equitable world. I currently have a BA, however it is in education. What would you advise at this point might be the best practice in returning as a matriculated student?

Biomedical engineering is really an interesting subject. It’s just that I don’t think I will ever become a biomedical engineer in this lifetime even if I want to. I hope you will always enjoy what you do.

The most well explained video for Biomedical engineering. I am a teenage student just going to complete my matriculation next year and applying for college here in Pakistan the two outro fields for chosing biomedical engineering are pre.engineering and pre.medical .I was very confused to chose as I have to chose between these two careers as Art is just considered oustcast (which it is not it's an amazing field as well) and computer science is not my type so then what I want to be ????? An engineer or A doctor or something relevant with medical or something relevant with engineering as we study physics and chemistry in both of them but I don't think I can do so and math is not my field until it is engineering. So in my 9 th class I studied about career's in biology in first chapter and the new emerging talent was the one and only Biomedical engineering so what I decided to chose it even though I didn't had that much information but I thought it's not that much familiar but it is Today before ur video I watched another video so I asked my mother ( she is well known as she has done electrical engineering and satalite related pH d masters in electronics and post doctorate degree related to satalite ranging from Austria) she said yes what a field u chose it's really nice for u to select as u r always so confuse so it's the best and is with scoop . I have finished my ninth examination pending result and going to 10 next month and finally like others I decided my fields ❤️ TYSM ❤️

I’m a first year student and we do a lot of programming. I’m totally new in this field and informatics and programming is quite hard for me. I do have it for 3 semesters so after that I won’t have that course anymore. But still I’m wondering how much programming will be involved when I’m working in whichever field. Cans you talk about that too pls?🤧

Hey, i’m currently working towards my undergrad for biomedical engineering. Let’s say I’m decent in math and physics but i’m really good at modeling using engineering programs and have a solid understanding on biology. What would you recommend as a future job that i should look into? I was looking into neural engineering since i like learning about the brain though idk if i can use my skills in this area...

Hey I have only learn the super basics of biology in high school and not too good at chemistry, probably average. However, still good at physics. But i found this course interesting. Do you think it will be a good choice to apply for Biomedical Engineering?

I want to be a Doctor because working of Human body, it's Immune responses, etc. fascinates me the most. I want to give mankind better medical facilities irrespective of their social status, make attempts to eradicate dreadful diseases and bring in more research facilities into this field so that we can build up a better world together and live a happy and healthy life.

I was really interested in Stock market n Finance but recently I got really curious and interested in this field called Behavioural Finance, which is intersection of Psychology and Finance. In this we study about Market crashes and Bubbles, peoples have lost their life savings in these situations I think learning more about it will help us make better financial decisions which I think is crucial in today's time.

Im a sophomore in high school right now, I am taking an engineering course focusing more on mechanics and electronics because that’s what I thought I wanted to do, but my love for medical fields is coming back and starting to know more about biomedical engineering, so I don’t know if it’s a waste or it can still help me. There’s also a biomedical science course in my school and now I’m regretting my choices , I don’t know if I wasted my time 😭

#crazymedusa my area of intrest lies in nanotechnology and different ways to deliver Nanomedicines.
It's an emerging field but it has lot to give to the healthcare society in terms of improving drug delivery. Faster diagnosis and targeted drugs delivery for various viral and deadly diseases such as cancer .
It was very informative video, thanks for sharing✨👩‍🔬
