Lovebites are the Metal Queens 🤘
I hear that heavy metal is constantly changing and evolving with the times and is now classified into over 50 categories. Even recently, BABYMETAL's "Kawaii Metal" was added. If a genre called "Happy Metal" is ever created, this song will be called the masterpiece of that genre.

This song was the final number at the end of a nearly 2 hour concert. It was the second of two concerts Lovebites performed in March 2023 after a break of nearly two years due to Covid and their original bass player leaving the band in 2021 for personal reasons. A new bass player, 20 year old Fami, was recruited in 2022 and these two concerts were her first time on stage with the band and also her first in front of an audience of this size. 'We The United' is as much as anything Lovebites anthem and is a feel good number to share with their fans.
The band members are, Asami, Vocals and Piano. Haruna, Drums and co founder of the band. Midori, Guitar, the blond 'Amazon Warrior'. Miyako, Guitar, Piano and Keyboard, long black hair. she is a classically trained pianist and composes and arranges much of the music. Fami, Bass, the baby of the band and newest member. She has her own YT channel with nearly 700,000 subs and is crazily talented (as are all the other members). The previous bass player up until 2021 was Miho who was also co founder with Haruna.
Recommendations for further listening if I may. Holy War, Rising, Thunder Vengeance, Frozen Serenade, Edge of the World, Winds of Transylvania (composed as the opening theme to a crazy Anime series, Vlad Love) Swan Song with a Chopin piano introduction played by Miyako. There are many more I could list, but this should get you started 😄

Energy! - Consider this: This was the very last song of their Comeback weekend with two concerts in Tokyo City Hall on Saturday March 11th and Sunday March 12th, 2023, resulting in 2 (sic!) 2CD/DVD/Blu-ray live albums with accumulated almost 40 songs (3.5 hours) in total (set lists of both days differed in 5 songs!) after a hiatus of almost two years (due to Covid-19 and the departure of founding band leader and bassist Miho for personal reasons), introducing (then) 20 yo new bassist Fami to the audience. This gave them a lot of new energy and enthusiasm, they were able to continue and enforce their ride, they did in 2017 - 2021 (founded 2016). They are aiming the top of the hill, and it's stupendous!

It's nice to see you enjoy one of my favorites band . . for most of the same reasons *_I_* love them. Lovebites is: *Asami* (vocals) ; *Midori* ( _blond_ guitarist) ; *Miyako* ( _black hair_ guitar/piano) ; *Haruna* (drums) ; *Miho* (bass guitar). Miho left the band in 2021 and was replaced by *Fami* on bass in late 2022. Here some information about them:
The band was formed in 2016 by original bassist Miho and drummer Haruna. Their first EP and album came out in 2017. So far LOVEBITES have released 4 albums, some Singles/EPs and also a bunch of DVD/Blu-ray live recordings.
Back in 2018/2019 LOVEBITES have already toured in Europe, including appearances at the major metal festivals as Wacken, Download, Bloodstock, Graspop. In 2018 they also won the Metal Hammer UK Golden Gods Award for best new band.
Then came covid, their original bass player and founder Miho quit the band for personal reasons and two babies were born. After a break LOVEBITES came back with new bassist Fami and new song „Judgement Day“ in late 2022. A new album with the same title came out in February 2023.
This year in June LOVEBITES‘ first world tour starts in Europe. In September they will play their biggest headline show ever in Tokyo. After that LOVEBITES will have their US debut …

Asami on vocals (the one and only voice):
She has an amazing vocal range and vibrato, writes most of the lyrics, also did parts of the song writing for their latest 2 albums, she is a former ballerina and RnB/soul singer
Miyako on guitars, piano, keyboards (the golden touch):
She is the musical brain of the band, main composer and arranger, a soulful but also shreddy guitar player and concert level pianist, furthermore she is a gear nerd
Midori on guitars (crazy shredder):
Incredibly fast and technical guitar player, has contributed to songwriting for a few of their songs, also she is a body fitness athlete
Haruna on drums (little big engine):
Plays very fast pace over long distances, she is very efficient and her stamina is admirable, the cymbal work is outstanding, she also wrote one of their songs including lyrics, creates handmade miniature fake food
Fami on bass since 2022 (shining fingers):
Absolute bass prodigy with outstanding technique, she speaks faster than sonic speed as she plays and smiles non-stop
Miho on bass until 2021 (natural born headbanger):
We will never forget her, she is a great bass player, she wrote several of the songs for the band’s albums 1-3
