This family is so f*ed up, and if I was her I would get as much distance from their bottom-feeding abusive asses asap, because if she lets it go he or the other brother will see no problem to do it again, because to them their sister isn't a person, she's a human punching bag just like their mother raised them to believe. And then when she tells her father how she doesn't think of herself as one of his kids, and rightfully called him a coward and that she took a DNA test to try and prove she wasn't theirs to give them some kind of excuse to why they treated her so abysmally compared to her brothers, what does this disgusting creature say: 'you can't talk to me like this. I can't sleep right knowing you're in the hospital' while trying to convince her to drop the charges against her *brother* who put her there? Disgusting and toxic the lot of them!

I don't think you know much about abuse. She was a child. When she was able she changed her life. Obviously, you weren't paying attention. Maybe you should work with children who have been abused to get clue.
