3060 ti Tuf here and I don't understand one thing. After turning on the benchmark (not only this one, it is so in every demanding game), the card immediately enters its increased power limit (215W) and drops the clocks in the range of 1875-1950. Without reducing the voltage, there is no question of any stable high boost. I thought it was standard on one plug, but from what I can see everyone here is getting a high boost. @@johncaceres4165 Its easy to do, The easy way is just get msi afterburner. Run the stress test at your resolution you'd use during gaming. Go in increments of 40+ on the coreclock during stress test til you see graphical errors, wait 5 minutes between changes, and then for mem. clock do 100+ (this isn't the most thorough way to do it, but it's okay) I put fan speed on max (unless it strains the PCIE slot or Graphics card itself, then 75 pct fan speed works) power limit and temp limit on max w in msi afterburner, and no added voltage. After you see graphical errors go back to your last safe overclock, and go in increments of 10, and for mem clock go in increments of 20, then 10 til you find your max OC w out graphical issues or artifacting.

If your GPU happens to be a Zotac unit then look into replacing the thermal pads as they are not only trash but they may be preventing the GPU from being able to make proper contact with the coldplate. I went from 83c+ stock to 71-72c and with the power limit up from 100% to 110% with my max OC to 75c. With 900mv, Cyberpunk 2077 goes from 58c-60c and that is usually what I run. Hopefully you understand what I am talking about and if not just look into replacing the pads/paste for your card.

I mean I don't have that card so I can't say for sure. But from memory, it was a pretty safe overclock. Should it fail, you can always just remove it, lots of good comment about how to not crash on boot under the video. Cheers@gorkman5697
I have an Asus RTX 3060 ti KO OC. I managed to get +240 core and +1400 memory with +20 core voltage running stable @ 64c with 75% fan speed. To be honest I’m not sure if I had to stop there. I haven’t even tried to push it further. Single 8 pin allows for 108% Power limit for me. So my core is now 2025mhz and memory is 8400mhz.
WOW! Now I'm using Palit Geforce RTX 3060 nonTI with Amd Ryzen 5, 2600X with 4.1Ghz
I can push Core clock +215MHz and Memory clock to 800MHz with 0 Artifacts.
It's doing 2055-2130MHz fine and memory 8300MHz , I'm happy with it =)
With exactly the same card and exactly the same settings I got 3922. Funny thing: lowering core voltage to 50% like you did yielded a bit better results than having it at 100%, like it was set before watching this video. Temps were between 64-67 C.
If it's in any way important, I overclocked the card via Gigabyte's Aorus software, not MSI. After overclocking with MSI effects were a bit different, usually the score was lower.
what the? you got a score 1500 bigger than mine with the same gpu, how? whats your cpu and your ram? ty

Hey, I do have same card. Is this OC working good so far for you? What about voltage, power limit, temp limit and fan speed you set?
You was right on the setting 150 on the core and 1100 on memory. Asus TUF 3060ti OC to 2099mhz on core and 8100mhz on memory. It only has one six pin but power limit is 108. 3060 ti Tuf here and I don't understand one thing. Normally I play on 1980mhz (stable in most games) core, 8000mhz memory on 925mv voltage and i am fine with it, but I'm a bit concerned about this power-limit hit on stock.
Interesting, i need to boost my card because fore the reverbG2 it needs in fact a high end card tomorrow i post the results on this channel , i love this how to overlock footage ✌️👌

@@johncaceres4165 You don't simply want to be able to OC just to create artifcating even if it seems minimal, it'll build over the long run, no use causing a minute build in damage to your own GPU overtime. For some reason my rtx 3060ti core clock cant get above 80 and every game will crash. Rn my core clock is at 75 and memory 1.2k
Core voltage is a %, it isnt adding any more voltage, it is just adjusting the curve it follows for what voltage at that frequency, at 0% it was hitting 1081, at 50% it was hitting 1081, it didn't add 50mv
I did same settings you did, I have rtx3060ti, but with 2 fans. I did same settings and my temp got to 88c which I checked people say is not bad for max usage and my MHz got to 1860 only, but also for some reason my cpu was at 53c and was only loaded on 2%
I think 88c is not healthy for a videocard that doesn't go above 70 decrees
If your GPU happens to be a Zotac unit then look into replacing the thermal pads as they are not only trash but they may be preventing the GPU from being able to make proper contact with the coldplate. I went from 83c+ stock to 71-72c and with the power limit up from 100% to 110% with my max OC to 75c. With 900mv, Cyberpunk 2077 goes from 58c-60c and that is usually what I run. You can look at the video I did to show how the GPU performs with the new thermal pads/paste but it is for the game Control not Cyberpunk 2077. Hopefully you understand what I am talking about and if not just look into replacing the pads/paste for your card.

Any of you know if it s normal for my kfa2 3060ti to stay at 1710mhz gpu and 8000mhz memory when nothing is running? I have add 115 for core and 1000 for memory. With warzone load is pushing to 2150 mhz but still shows high with nothing running
Is it normal my gpu hotspot temperature reaches 90 degrees celcius?kinda worries me abit
Any tips on lower temps? when i benchmark i get 75°-77°c and other people seen to get in the 60s. My settings are Core:+170mhz and Memory:+820mhz. Power and temp limit are maxed at 110% and 90°c.
My card stays at 68-70 with similar oc. So yeah that seems a little high. Plus my card has only dual fans and isn't one of the cards with a giant heat sink. Maybe try turning the fans higher or doing undervolting. Still, maybe the heat sink needs to be redone or possibly thermal paste? Take a close look at case air floe as well.
@@Hatemode_NJ Thank you very much for you help. I do have an EVGA card with only 2 fans, and I will admit that all my air flow in my case is not very good. I will be trying to fix that and again thank you.
@@CorbinPorter are you using a custom fan curve? Maybe evgas tweaks theirs to run higher.. I'd also try googling your model specifically to see if anyone else has the same issue. Mines an Asus Dual Mini V2 and like you said.. Sits right at 68-70 degrees (at the gpu) even over locked. The hotspot hits around 83c though (even though I set target to 90). Just to make sure we're talking about the same temp sensor.
For some reason my memory clock went up but not my gpu clock ? do you have any idea why ?
heat
I have Asus tuf rtx 3060 ti, mine goes to +180 core clock, mem +1000 mhz ,power limit max, in the game boost to 2070-2100 mhz, depends on the game, but the temperature does not go over 57 degrees,70% fan speed the card has very good cooling.
Got 220 core with +500 memory clock. Not sure if I even need more memory clock or the purpose of pushing it further.... also why would I need to turn up voltage?
One, it CAN lower your temps and raise your clock. Depends.
