Thank you so much. I am a DYIer and just learning general woodworking - I will certainly look for your channel and other videos. Love your organization.😊
You are the most creative person I have ever seen in the past 70 yrs.!!!!! If you did this out of head that awesome!!!! I admire your knowledge in woodworking!!!! That battery charging station is fantastic!!!! You have impressed the hell out of me.!!! If you were in the Detroit area, I would hire you so fast the speed of sound is standing still!!!!!
Brilliant! When my wife saw me watching this video, she stayed to see what was going on. First thing she says to me is "This girl's legit!" I agree 100%. My wife is uber handy too and often gives me great advice on projects I'm working on. She learned from me, but is able to see problems in a different light and often saves me huge headaches by coming up with a better way to do something than the way I was doing it. Loved this video!
I would like to suggest this video be considered UA-cam for "video of the year" with woodworkers and DIY's I think it has a chance to win this year YOU TUBE.
One of the nicest drill/battery cabinets I have seen. Really like the drop down shelf for your bit storage. Well designed. Along with the tape trick for mounting things with keyhole slots, I sometimes put the back of an item on my printer and make a copy of the back. It works well on smaller things.
Liked and subscribed ! I want to pay you a huge complement: the ingenious and simple way you figured out to transfer the hole patterns from the back of the tools to the board using tape was 'phenomenal'. I am a design engineer and can appreciate the effectiveness and simplicity of what you did. I will use your method to perfectly mount my Rear Wing Aleron on the rear decklid of my sports car. I had developed similar methods using tape but the particular twist you used just can not be beat! with all my experience over 20 yrs. in one of the world's biggest auto studios and you beat me with a simple variation on how to use the tape! lol well done little lady! keep up the good work !!
What a joy to see a woman doing DIY. Also thanks for no music! This is beautiful work and so handy. I have the same problem with my tools piling up and having to organize them. Merci!
Just finished building this. My first ever build. I purchased the plans and they were so easy to follow unlike some I have purchased from etsy. Such clear step by step instruction. Thank you.
Excellent presentation. Kudos for providing a glimpse of the finished project near the beginning of the clip. I’m sure I’m not alone in my feeling of frustration after watching a video through til the end, only to realize the end product is not appealing. Love your attention to detail, too! Thanks…..this project is on my list!
I bought your plans for this project a couple of weeks ago and have finally managed to finish making my own charging station the day before yesterday. Many mistakes were followed by many do-overs, with the result that I ended up with lots of off-cuts and two sizeable pieces of wood left out of a whole board! 😊🤭 But it does the job of providing room for all my cordless stuff, which includes an impact driver, three drills, a random orbital sander and all their batteries and three different brands' chargers, so I'm feeling pretty chuffed with myself, thank you very much! 😎 My phone's calculator app worked overtime to convert all the measurements to metric for me, but I managed to make only one mistake, I think, as far as that was concerned. If I may, just one tiniest of tiny correction: In the cut list on p3 you show the pull-out tray to be 18 7/8'' wide, which is correct, of course, since it has to slide in and out, unlike all the other shelves, but on p8 you show the same pull-out tray to be 19'' wide, same as the shelves. It's no biggie and anyone who's paying attention should pick it up, but I just thought I should mention it. Good grief, I wish I could draw plans like that!
Bought the plans and built it - thanks! Extremely perfect for my humble collection of drivers. Can I coin a learning phrase: "micromistakes"? I made a bunch of them. 🙂 Of course, I had to tinker with the design, though my router micromistake perfectly matched yours! My drawer sits on 1/2 plywood runners glued to the top of the shelf underneath the drawer as I wanted to take pressure off of the pins. A little wax and it slides just fine. Of note, the plug of the powerstrip you linked is wider than the forstner bit hole. No issue for me as I located the strip on the side of the box to be able to switch it off. I also have access to the additional strip outlets if needed. Not as clean as having it behind the false front, but more utilitarian.
Late to your party here but fascinated by the thorough detail and description of this build. I too have cordless tools from different manufacturers mostly because what I wanted wasn't available. This build will make my little workshop look professional. Thank you for making this video.
Wow!!! Thanks. A lot of work. I just bought the house next door. I put all that stuff in the bathroom. Since battery begins with B, I would remember were to find them!!!
You've got some cool features here! I like the sliding/pivoting drawer a lot, and I really love the false front with the hidden cables for the chargers too!! My first charger station didn't have the cables hidden and it drove me nuts.
Very good project one trick i use when installing iron on edging is to wear a glove on my left hand it not only stops you from burning your fingers but more importantly you use it to rub the tape down without having to pick up a roller I find it dose a far better job. Thanks for sharing 👍
Wow! Nice work! At 5:07 into the video this is a very useful tip! Thanks 🙏🏼 At 7:32 great tip to prevent cracking! 9:33 Use playing cards keep the drawer equally spaced! Thanks 🙏🏼 for sharing your video!
Very clever - especially the repurposed shelf pins! I did wonder about the recessed charger panel - but you had enough clearance to insert the batteries (probably not by accident). Thanks for the ideas.
Very neat job great idea. i enjoyed your video. also the magnetic bar for your bit storage would magnetize your bits to stop screws etc from falling off.
A nice set up. I have been looking to devise a pull out tray for spices in an upper cabinet. My first two attempts have been cumbersome. Your pull out tray is simple and elegant. Just loaded your plans and will try it out. Maybe trial no. 3 will be the winner! Merci!
Although I don’t need one, I greatly enjoyed watching your build with my Sunday morning coffee. 👍 I will try to incorporate you’re drop down drawer idea in a future project. Cheers from Vancouver Island.
Great build and lots of customized solutions for various tools and parts. I like a simple solution of using a hook for a nail gun - sometimes it is better to not overcomplicating things.
I would be more interested in hearing about your dust collection system! As that’s what I’m trying to design now for my small garage and being able to attach it or have dedicated attachments to each tool!
I bought and downloaded the plans, and made it without the tray. It looks awesome, but I wish I’d put the tray in. I also used a measuring tape holder off a broken tool belt to hold my nail gun, it works perfectly.
I think this is my favorite build you've done. LOVE the design and how the cords are hidden for such a clean look. Also think the pull out tray is great. I'm going out to my shop now to measure and see if I can find a space so I can get your plans and build one of my own. Thanks for another great project!
Thank you so much! Appreciate it 😊 Hope you can find the space. I love having all my drills and bits organized like this can't believe I didn't do it sooner!
Great idea and execution. Your no nonsense clear videos are excellent and make these projects very approachable. Still loving the Router table of yours that I built last year. Keep up the great work.
Nice. I found a site that had adjustable tool calculator - spots for drill/drivers. Interestingly it also hold my Ryobi jigsaw in it as well. I just attached the charger on the side, as I only have Ryobi with seven batteries of different capacities.
Just to help a little, your batteries should be charged in an hour. So put a timer in the back so it runs for one hour each day, to keep the batteries healthy, no overcharging. Hope that helps a little. Great design and video. Thanks for sharing.
Very nice work! One thing I would do differently is add a small roundover on the bottom of the drillholding “T”s as to prevent damage to the drills and to edges of the holders.
Nice build Marie. I most admit that I'm a bit jealous that Festool is giving you a track saw. I guess that comes with 152K subscribers. What sets this build apart from others I've considered is the charger mounting / false front. Very ingenious. Also admire your honesty for calling out the router miss and commiserate with you. I've done that before too.
Best drill/charger cabinet I've seen - love your creative solutions, like the pullout tray, hiding cords, quick access bar. Pretty nifty all around. Isn't it amazing how the chargers multiply like rabbits?
Awesome build for sure! I like how you hid the wires in the back. You have inspired me to build mine out of FRT plywood. IMO… which often means nothing sometimes haha😂 I would have placed the power strip on the outside-side.
I love how most the girls on YT doing stuff like this get to the point and show you how they do things, while the guys screw off and try and sell ya stuff. You killin it, keep up the good work!
Turned out nice and could be easily modified for the brand of cordless tools you have. One thing most people don’t know is when applying edge banding a j-roller or a roller is not the tool to use. You should always use the edge of a screwdriver or a steel rod to burnish the banding, pressing/rubbing fairly hard to force the hot glue into the edge of the plywood and a file is the best way to trim the excess banding. Those trimmer’s can catch the grain of the wood and mess up or chip the banding. A very sharp block plane a chisel can work.
Good old princess auto I drove by there today! I like the slide out tray and the bit holder that’s awesome. I have the same magnetic bar for my tools I bought the 3 pack.
I have to agree with the mob, the best one I've seen on the net. I can't wait to make this one. I'm going to make some personal mods for my tools, but that is an awesome idea for the chargers and drop shelf.
I like the pull out idea. I'll use it for some measuring and marking tools separately. And my hand tools. Maybe chisels. Drills and batteries use a similar set up but with upright slides for bits.
Very nice project jut, just make sure all you wiring is not folded or in bungle as you risk of having wires getting hot and a fire starting cheers Robert

Thanks !!
This is so awesome! Now if I only had the tools to build this. LOL
Thank you so much. I am a DYIer and just learning general woodworking - I will certainly look for your channel and other videos. Love your organization.😊

Great explanation and no distracting music in the background. Very impressive! I'm a novice but this looks doable!

Sweet! One of the best charging station I have seen! I love to see women working in the shop!!!
wow! Your are quick, concise and to the point with valuable information. Thank you!
The magnet on the flip down for my random drill bits and stuff was what did it for me. Great job.
I love this design! So well thought out, and I love how you used a routed slot for the tilting drawer. Very smart!
Loved how you lined up the holes for your charger. I'm watching what you did and thinking, duh, why didn't I think of that?😊
My favorite of the dozen of these builds I've seen. Simple and clean.
Loved the tape idea for locating the charger mounting holes!
I haven't been happy with my charger station it was my first build. Im going to upgrade mine with your plans. Thank you
Your tape mounting trick for the chargers was absolute genius!
Wow!!! Thanks. A lot of work. I just bought the house next door. I put all that stuff in the bathroom. Since battery begins with B, I would remember were to find them!!!

I watch a lot of UA-cam videos, your personality, skill set. Makes your very interesting
Very well done, kudos to you. Also, digging the Bourbon Moth reference, love that guy.
You caught that 😄👏
thats neat. i like the charger cables are behind the backer piece. thanks for the video

Great tip 👍
Hello,
You made that very "well", a perfect carpenter.
Best regards
from Germany
I love the pullout tray, and your reference to Bourbon Moth!
Nice build. Great addition with the drop-down tray. That is a detail I never would have considered, but very useful for something above eye level.
Best and simplest I've seen! Will be making this one 🙌
I know I’m 2 years late here, but this is fantastic. Definitely one of the nicest layouts I’ve seen, and you make it so simple. Awesome!
Excellent use of the phrase "easy peasy"
Well done, nice build, I look forward to your projects
You are incredible. I love your videos. They are clear and to the point. Just so enjoyable to watch.
Wow! Nice work! At 5:07 into the video this is a very useful tip! Thanks 🙏🏼 At 7:32 great tip to prevent cracking! 9:33 Use playing cards keep the drawer equally spaced! Thanks 🙏🏼 for sharing your video!

Lol yep more planning went into this than meets the eye!
Very neat job great idea. i enjoyed your video. also the magnetic bar for your bit storage would magnetize your bits to stop screws etc from falling off.
Great idea you marked all the pieces of timber so you can see what you are using great job
Simple, but very ingenious and well done!
Thanks!

Just a really great build with some of the best, practical solutions I've seen yet!
This has been done so many times, but your video was by far the clearest by far. Thanks 🇦🇺👴🏻
Thanks! Appreciate that
Those BonBon box is dope.
saving this for when i have my next leave from work
Nice work, i looking forward for the plans, time to upgrade my hobby shop.
Awesome enjoy! Plans are up on my website now
Oh yeah is like a disco in here! 😄😄. Great job and design.
🕺🏼🕺🏼🕺🏼🕺🏼😅
This is an outstanding design. I am going to purchase the plans and build this cabinet for my garage. Thanks for sharing this with us.
Good trick with the tape to mark the mounting points!
A nice set up. I have been looking to devise a pull out tray for spices in an upper cabinet. My first two attempts have been cumbersome. Your pull out tray is simple and elegant. Just loaded your plans and will try it out. Maybe trial no. 3 will be the winner! Merci!
Certainly hope so! Good luck

Very straight-forward and clear instructions! Nice job!
After seeing dozens of videos, yours is the best!

You're rapidly becoming my favorite! Caught that Bourbon Moth reference!
Fatto , tutto con materiale di scarto costo zero.
Mi sono divertito e alla fine mi è molto utile.
Hallo,
Die Station für Akku-Schrauber ist gut überlegt, gut geplant, und die Akku-Station ist sehr gut gebaut!

I bought and downloaded the plans, and made it without the tray. It looks awesome, but I wish I’d put the tray in. I also used a measuring tape holder off a broken tool belt to hold my nail gun, it works perfectly.
Awesome ideas for mounting the chargers. Good stuff. Thanks! and greetings from Vancouver Island.

I enjoyed the build. I don't know if I will ever make this one, but you've got me thinking.
Glad you enjoyed it 😊
Enjoy watching you work Peppermint 😁
Fantastic work, Marie! Beautiful cabinet! 😃
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Thanks! Same to you
You are a next-level genius.
Bought the plans, this is my weekend project now.
This was insane! You are my SHERO!
Great idea and execution. Your no nonsense clear videos are excellent and make these projects very approachable. Still loving the Router table of yours that I built last year.
Keep up the great work.

You are definitely the boss of bosses, excellent job
Nice design! Love the drop-down drawer.
Very nice work!
One thing I would do differently is add a small roundover on the bottom of the drillholding “T”s as to prevent damage to the drills and to edges of the holders.
I just sanded the edges down but that's a good tip to consider
Nice build Marie. I most admit that I'm a bit jealous that Festool is giving you a track saw. I guess that comes with 152K subscribers. What sets this build apart from others I've considered is the charger mounting / false front. Very ingenious.
Also admire your honesty for calling out the router miss and commiserate with you. I've done that before too.
Very good,Very Great. All the way good idea. Now for the misc nuts and fasteners I will have left over.
Great job Marie!
Simple and space efficient. One of these has been on my shop to-do forever lol
You had really GREAT ideas, love this
Great idea to organize most of my battery powered tools and for a quick access.
Using blu tape for screw hole template, brilliant!
Best drill/charger cabinet I've seen - love your creative solutions, like the pullout tray, hiding cords, quick access bar. Pretty nifty all around. Isn't it amazing how the chargers multiply like rabbits?
Dang it Marie!... now I gotta add this to the list... haha that's Awesome
Ha! I know the feeling. Never ending shop organization projects on my list.
Another epic build - you're such a great teacher!
That is one of the nicest looking charging stations I’ve seen on YT
Awesome build for sure! I like how you hid the wires in the back. You have inspired me to build mine out of FRT plywood. IMO… which often means nothing sometimes haha😂 I would have placed the power strip on the outside-side.

Hi im new in ure channel.
I liked this storage i made one for me thank you so much. Im khalid from Indianapolis IN
Very nicely planned and executed. Kudos to your efforts.
Thanks, appreciate it!
Fantastic build.
I really enjoyed the way you work. so neat and clean, very useful ideas and so straight forward. congrats.
Great project and design
This is looking sweet! Love the shelf
Thanks!
A little late but great build and love the commentary and thought that went into the design and build!
very nice charging station! Really like this one, especially with the pull out tray to hide the messy stuff. Thank you!
Turned out nice and could be easily modified for the brand of cordless tools you have.
One thing most people don’t know is when applying edge banding a j-roller or a roller is not the tool to use. Those trimmer’s can catch the grain of the wood and mess up or chip the banding. A very sharp block plane a chisel can work.
Thanks for the tips. Have used this method for a few projects and worked out well but what you're saying makes sense.
Very nice, Marie, this gives me some ideas for other charging stations.
Thank you kindly! Glad you like it 😎
I like the pull out idea.
