- The Chancellor had an Autumn Statement with over 100 points, but nothing in the plan stuck more than Rachel Reeves' complete destruction of not just the last year under Rishi Sunak, but 13 years of failure from the Tories.

Rachel Reeves with a massive background in financial economics, running rings round Jeremy Hunt....is truly wonderful. Hunt studied economics at uni ...but never followed it as a career, Reeves also studied it at Oxford, then the London school of Economics, then became an economist at The Bank Of England and later The British Embassy in Washington DC before entering politics. She's actually in the right position in the shadow cabinet. All our politicians should be in the job they are experts at, instead of being 'shifted around' like musical chairs. 🧐
However in her recent book she lifted other peoples work and tried to pass if off as her own probably because it was the easy option.
I didn’t know that but yes she’s definitely a good and very experienced shadow (soon to be!) chancellor

I am nearing 73, and recall as a 30 year old an old timer telling me your always better off under the conservatives, perhaps it was true then but now i am far far worse off under the uncaring out of touch idiot tories and this autumn statement has done nothing for me.
Or the life style people living in tents or the families thrown out of their homes because of extreme high rents, but give millions to privatised companies that dump shite in our rivers

It boils down to, 13 years later I am worse off, Taxes on my income, NI up, can't get hold of a GP, Dentist keeps cancelling due to staff issues. Fallout from Liz Truss, inflation, food and fuel hitting the pocket. And Mr Sunak sits there, he never will and never has wanted for anything, smiling as if the commons is a playground. The rest of the front bench heads down on the phone. I will be honest, I have voted tory and Labour in the past, this time it's Labour, 13 years and nothing but worse off!

Funding has been cut for the NHS in Wales because it's provided to us by HM Treasury, so that argument doesn't hold any water. The Welsh Government receives it's NHS budget from this Tory government. It's their cuts that are impacting Wales, not ours.

Sadly, that strategy will lead to a Tory Government, due to our stupid First Past the Post system. The Tories get in term after term on a minority of the vote.

Here's the short story. The tories clearly have no plan. Labour have one. You might not like it. You might like bits of it. You might distrust all politicians. You might hate labour with a passion. But if you have any recognition left that we have a democracy to save and there's a clear choice as to which party are planning to move us back from the cliff edge towards something resembling a functional country, please vote and vote for the overall package and not the headlines, based on your fear or hatred of other people or purely based on selfishness.
I hate how smug they sit, thinking they are doing us a favour with their measly personal tax cuts while business and the rich get away with paying next to nothing if anything.
