- Sal was first diagnosed with breast cancer, and then later with bile duct cancer, which she was told was incurable.
“How are we going through this again? We’ve been through this - we’ve done our time.”
Sal entered a hospice in August 2020, and sadly died in September 2020.1 in 2 people in the UK will get cancer during their life time. Every pound you give helps speed up life-saving cancer research, bringing treatments to people who need them, faster.

It really struck me how Sal's children spoke. They were incredibly mature and articulated their feelings beautifully. It's clear that Sal was a wonderful mother. May she rest in peace and I hope her family are doing well
What articulate bright sons, Sal and her husband did a fantastic job raising these boys. I hope they’re doing well.
So so sad, such a young woman. I’ve just been through this recently with my dad, different kind of cancer but the suffering is the hardest thing to watch them go through. All my thoughts go out to you and your family ❤❤

I just saw this tonight on C4 and couldn't help but feel so sad. Sal you raised two wonderful boys and I am sorry for your family's loss.
May she rest in peace x
So sorry for the boys and Sal's family ❤❤❤❤
Sorry for your loss. Glad you still have each other
This is very sad. My husband was diagnosed with bile duct cancer on the 8th December 2023 and sadly he passed on the 30th March 2024. It seems to be that you can have it, not know and therefore when it is discovered then sadly it is too late.
I am so sorry for your loss. May the Lord bind up your broken heart.
@@aeolianhrp1 Thank you
My mum was diagnosed confirmed on 13th May 2024 and passed away on the 13th August 2024. Gallbladder and or bile duct cancer.

This was so sad! Why do Doctors give a false Hope and tell them that it’s no chance of it coming back. I don’t understand. 😢
@Bradley Walton 🥲
Because it may not have been breast mets, it may have been a second primary. Very sad
I do not trust doctors at all. As a patient how do you know they removed all of your cancer? Because the do tor told you so? Scns dont show everything and most patients depend ondoctors to interpret them. Can you trust the dr to tell the truth? Why didnt she get monthly scans? Was she told to go on her merry way and never get follow ups? How did the cancer come back so ggressively so many questions
It's almost a foregone conclusion that cancer will come back! Doctors aren't much chop!
She ended up having a second kind of cancer, bile duct cancer which is what I have. The only cure is surgery which you can't have if there is metastasis. My doctor found a large tumor in the liver when we were not looking for it. I was one of the 15-20% of people who can have the curative surgery. But usually it goes unrecognized until the person has only months to live. To this dear family, I am so sorry for your loss. May God bind up your broken hearts.
sorry! RIP Sal!
roughly 108 billion people have come and gone and billions more will come and go and nobody will escape. it's sad when people die young but there is nothing we can do.
Wow
Ooh so bad
Well it is.
