Hello John, just an Idea. It would be cool if there would be a short in-game opening scene when the first wave starts. For example the Normandy (D-Day), a loud siren goes off and the boats arrive from the distance and eventually strand on the beach. After they've reached the beach, the zombies start spawning.
I feel like a support AWACS plane that fly around the map will be cool, maybe to detect stealth enemies for towers that doesn't have stealth detection?
I really hope for a few things to be implemented like no tower limit just the limit being your bank account. another is enemy only do actions like summoning or stunning near towers so you have no penalty of putting your towers at the back of the map. last is my idea of this game's version of accelerate: the zap-cannon were it overheat after shooting a certain amount of times.
Maybe a tower that when shoot a longer time it deals more damage (like inferno tower from clash of clans) ik ik, diffrent thing. I just tell you the mechanic of that tower
A few suggestions, hotkeys to upgrade, and sell possibly Q for path 1 and E for path 2 while X or something is selling, also a cool idea for the D-Day map would be at the start of the match when the enemies are about to spawn, the boats pull up, and then open the latch and they start coming out. oh and also dont lock any towers behind strictly a paywall, or 50 hour playtime grind just for it to be slightly better then the thing you have now.
Hey Jhon, I think a cool feature for the Normandy (D-Day) map would be having passive defenders fire out of the pillboxes, maybe this makes the 4 lanes more balanced.

And no its not because its the longest map making it easy to grind I like it because it reminds me of stuff like the Roblox game D-DAY and I just like stuff like that 2, it has the long map, it gets to look more fortified the longer you go down the path, and your defending some sort of bunker or base of operations. I like this style and I hope to see extra challenges in this map because its so long, maybe each map on release or in a later update can have live events happen like on the oil rig a group of oil containers explode and light the area on fire with it being either for design or actual gameplay changing, maybe it shortens / makes the path longer by making the zombies take another route. I could see stuff like this happening on this D-DAY like map, maybe a plane crash in the middle of the runway or an explosion of in the distance from the ocean from a aircraft carrier. things like this with the little details to make the map liven up and not feel like the towers and mobs/zombies are the only things there, there are other people, or maybe there could be little npc's running around the base looking for shelter or running to the main base. I don't know I just think this would be great for the game sense it is trying to be different, making the maps not feel so empty I think would be great for what this game is trying to accomplish. (also I made this before seeing the D-DAY map that map is also cool too, maybe some planes bombing the shore every once in a while on that map.)
5:25 it looks like one of the maps from far cry 1, i remember playing it when i was a kid. as far as I remember it was available in the local game or online.
A tower suggestion, you know how in "Arena: Tower Defense" when a player leaves, the game gives all of the player's towers to a random person. I don't really know if you already have this in the game or not but, if it isn't in the game yet, please consider this so that when we get trollers that would place random towers anywhere and they leave, we can get rid of those towers the troller placed down. It would be really cool if this gets added in the game. One thing I also suggest is another tower suggestion, I know a lot of people have been suggesting it already but it's actually really really helpful. It is hotkeys for towers such as a hotkey for selling, a hotkey for upgrading, a hotkey for changing targets, hotkey for abilities(if you'd add abilities in the game). Q - Sells the tower E - First bar upgrade R - Second bar upgrade T - Change targets G - Trigger the selected tower's ability B - Trigger all towers on the map's ability I don't know if the hotkeys I sampled are already occupied but you could change that however you want. That's all my suggestion and thank you for reading. (LMAO THIS SUGGESTION LITERALLY HAS MORE EFFORT THAN I WOULD PUT IN MY COLLEGE ESSAY)
This is just a concept but I just realized that almost no tower defence game has a loop where zombies go in this loop multiple times, it would be cool if you added this because it's only in TDX
Personal opinion on how to balance shotgunner, is make its up close damage high obviously, but making it rely on pellets and having a long range with RBS would be very very helpful for realism if thats what u want (also it would make your game stand out since it would be the only TD to do that with shotguns.)
honestly the long map is gonna be a little easier, since people can put towers in the end and spam skip to get money for upgrades, so then when the zombies reach the back youll have very good defense (but it wont be good if you already have towers that are good enough to be put in the front

I hope you are planning to make micro-transations because I am willing to spend lots of money on this game! Also, an idea for that really long map, you could make it interactive in some way shape or form I think it would be cool so you aren't waiting years for the zombies to go through it all.

I'd be cool to have another upgrade option instead of those 2 upgrade choices. It would be unlocked in the gui if you get a certain tower mastery or unlock the option.

If John has any suggestions for a new map or something he should have a hard map and it’s an X with 4 zombie spawns and 1 base to defend in the middle and you place towers on the bases patios or around and the zombies come from 4 waves but every wave it spawns more like for ex wave 1 2 then 4 then 6 then yeah and if you win you get cool stuff
This is quite a miniature suggestion, but I would think it would be cool if the ranger towers were hollow so you could possibly put long range units in them.
a cool concept would be stun health, like the shield for the sentry from engineer in TDS. Since from what I've just watched, the towers have armor on, and maybe towers with more armor have higher stun health. Ex: Unit has to be hit twice before actually getting stunned

Hey, just a visual idea, and idk if you have already said no to this or not, but maybe you could add a setting for shells that are ejected stay on the ground for a short amount of time. Also longest map ever, proceeds to take on the challenge of only placing towers near the back.
Maybe in the future you should make certain maps have a map exclusive mode that has story or give towers but sometimes the mode makes the game easier or harder and changes the money you get

Hey ever thought of adding a feature of where each player in a team game (duo, trio, quad) Has their own space for placing stuff and another mode where everything is is for everyone
It would be cool if u could add modfiers to maps and some maps have automatic modfiers that u cant remove, like example on the largest map the enemies could have 2,5x more speed and 2x more hp
make it so there are places on the map where you can place like just 1 troop and that spot buffs whatever troop is there for instance a red glowing circle that when you hover over it it shows what perks the zone gives when units are placed inside of it like +3 Damage to inside troop. this would be good to add actually strategies to beating certain maps. there can also be one thats on a tower that maybe gives the 1 tower on the tower hidden detection or a range buff
Ok one more idea, a mil base type tower that spawns little soldiers that move around the map and take cover in various places walls, corners, trenches, etc. and shoot at zombies, they do have health though and most zombies should be able to attack them in some way
im actually so hyped for this game. its not like tds, tower heroes or that bs. it's got literall warships, fighter jets and more in the future. take all the time in the world cause we dont want it to end up being like the tds hardcore live event

That’s actually a good idea but i might be a little op so maybie the detection runs out after like 5 seconds (improves with upgrades though)

Idea: Have an option so your tower faces matches your avatar's face, just an army of winning smile or chill faced towers attacking enemies.
i cannot imagine how comedic it would be to use towers like war machine, tanks and the other spawn tower
