Sunny Beach Bulgaria. Fantastic views, tasty food not far away!

- We take a short trip from the resort of Sunny Beach, just a couple of miles up the coast to Old Nessebar. Lots to see here, especially early or late season when the big tourist resort itself is quieter. We wander about and then have a great meal on the waterside, what could be better than this!!!

We really enjoy our shopping here. I know a couple of the leather shops try and drag you in.
My fave place Nessebar is gorgeous. It's a nice little boat trip back across to Sunny Beach too. Can't wait to be back in September.

Just back from Bulgaria which is my home country! We went to nessebar also it was bi chilly mid april but the weather's gone lot better, while there realised many of the places started to open up, we went to our classical "Condor" restaurant they've improved with their customer service and food! Variety of cusines in condor, highly recommended. 👌 💯
We love the food here, not so processed as back in the UK. It's was chilly at times last month, much better now.

Lots of work been done in winter to the paving, many areas relaid.
You should check out Sv. Vlas across the bay if you haven't already... It's arguably one of the most "chic" and up & coming towns in Bulgaria and just a few decades ago it was a sleepy underdeveloped village that had 'nothing to offer' .....
I bought a Condo there last year and love it... So far so good.

We ate at that restaurant last year, at the same table, in fact. Food was amazing, tasty and plenty of it. Will definitely be going again in a few weeks when we're over.
The food was really nice, unusually very hot . A great position to sit and watch the harbour. Susan drove home so I got a real beer for a change as well.

I would have wanted to escape the media, it's one day but they have given it all day for weeks people must be so bored with it. Raining here today, but it's been warm and sun will be back shortly. By the weekend lots will be open in the main resort .

Very tasty way of eating fish though first time I wasn't that keen but you cannot feel the bones at all

Yes its very warm being daytime in the 30's, everyone is in the sea in the season and it is crystal clear and a fantastic blue colour. We are off to the amazing mountains for a short break later this month.
A little information: To enter the EU on a British passport, it needs to meet two criteria. It must have been issued in the past 10 years at the time of entry. It must be valid for at least three months on the date that you exit the EU.....saw in the newspapers that some got denied by easyjet !
It's always been that you need time left on the passport, it was six months when I first went to Europe. With rampant strikes in the UK possibly people have really left it late to apply and get a new one. We have residency in Bulgaria which is great as we can come and go as we like in the EU .

It was 42 leva, Susan had non alcoholic beer , drinks included
