- While I was in Germany I met this amazing dog and his owner, but he has trouble staying calm and disciplined around food. This is how I help him understand that jumping on the table and stealing food isn't the right way to behave (most of the time).

Cesar I’m working with a dog but she pulls so much they use that e coller on her but I don’t know how to use the e coller so she yanks I don’t know if they used it the wrong way and I feel frustrated not knowing how to help her we bike ride or rollerblade with but she still yanks I feel like she needs a pack to rehabilitate her she’s a lot of work. Start by keeping them away from the table and no human food to begin with 😉 a hard lesson learned for me!

Just take a look a Holly, the labrador that made Cesar go to the hospital: in another video you see them cuddling and Cesar has 100% trust, that this dog is fine with other animals and humans of any age
Totally agree Jan, she is a run of the mill basic dog trainer, Cesar is on a whole different level. I have a dog that is aggressive through fear, if I could remove the fear, the aggression would be gone. Dogs don't choose to be aggressive, they can all be reformed.
I am a registered breeder just to clarify I am not a backyard breeder.. and had 16 puppies and before they were 8 weeks old all 16 puppies had manners especially during feeding times.. because of Cesar.. the new owners were shocked to see 16 puppies patiently waiting for food.. and having manners.. Cesar is second to none when it comes to dogs and teaching people how to be with dogs..

Have been hooked by Cesar from the first time I saw his programme over a decade ago. I am interested in how he reads dogs & uses their language to help them. I have three dogs that have been raised by his “way” & can take my dogs anywhere, to anybodies house to stay over to restaurants, pubs or hotels. Have always been complimented on how well behaved & happy they are. Each of their personalities show through whilst being a calm submissive dog with humans & other animals. The one problem I have with one of mine is she just seems so lost in herself. She’s very needy & can be vocal ( I think through her being insecure) never aggressive, she doesn’t have an aggressive bark just an insecure one. I don’t know how to help her. She was a pup from the dog we have so I know how she was raised & all the other pups are super confident & independent. This one didn’t have any special treatment from the others but she seems a lost soul. Never had an insecure dog before & rarely wants to play. She’s grown up with the confident & relaxed older dogs so it’s a wonder really. Hope to see you in the U.K. you are very much respected over here. You may need to stay here a while as you’ll be a sell out everywhere with people still hoping you will add another date. Love to all your family including the fur & feather family. 🥰

That Bulldog had a VERY athletic build for a Bulldog! Almost more like an Olde English Bulldogge, impressive. Yeah, dogs should never EVER be pests when you eat! I've hard Rotties, an awesome German Shepherd, a hybrid among other large dogs, and NONE of them begged or sat their drooling! Rules, boundaries, but lots & lots of love too, they were my babies!

I have trained all my girls the Ceasar Way! I had to go take care of my Mother for months on end. Needless to say, I had to retrain 1 of my girls. A Heeler. Need I say more? My husband is finally understanding that Cassie is much happier with structure in her life. He was amazed how she sat for 30 minutes waiting for me to give her a bite of food. The trick is no eye contact with her after she sits. When I am ready to give her the last bite, I nod my head and she calmly comes to me. I could never done this without watching Ceasar. He rules!

Maybe you’ll see this or not. It’s good to get this out there. I have a 10 year old miniature schnauzer named Sherlock and I live with my grandmother who has Dementia. He is very food motivated and begs a lot. He is always under my Mom when she’s cooking. He has to be in the kitchen if there’s any action. He hates his dog food to the point where he will either starve himself which will lead to throwing up, or he will give in and eat his kibble (we try different brands frequently) . The biggest issue is my Grandmother. She will give him massive chunks of her food, treating Sherlock like a trashcan. She always thinks he’s hungry. I don’t mind repeating myself but i’ve caught her trying to feed my dog coffee cake, unsafe vegetables, i looked away once and saw she made him a plate of spaghetti!!! The biggest issue was her giving Sherlock grapes. We have told her countless times to not give him grapes. Everytime she eats them (which is almost everyday) and she still gave him one. One won’t hurt but what happens if no one is looking and the next thing I see is my Dog sick or poisoned from all the table scraps he’s been eating. He threw up a whole piece of cod before and all my Grandma did was look away.
Because of this, he loves my Grandma and will always be under her. He listens to my commands when i’m sitting with her . He will back away but sneak back seconds later. If i’m not at the table and in the next room over (open kitchen), he will ignore me and my sister. Wont acknowledge us, turn, flinch, nothing. This has caused him to grow an attitude issue with us since he’s getting human food just cause. He refuses to listen to us, talks back, and has become more aggressive with my Dad. I am trying to learn how to fix this and I understand it’s difficult to do so with a family member with memory problems. If we chain him to the couch he throws a fit and whines the entire time. Or we put him in a different room he goes crazy and barks like we just killed someone. It’s starting to get out of control.

Cesar, I want so much to meet you. If you make it to the big island (Hawaii), please find me. I am a trainer and foster mom for dogs in a local sanctuary. I am on a mission to help otherwise unwanted dogs get into appropriate homes. They come to me, neglected, rejected, sick, abandoned, mentally and physically abused. I foster them and help them gain balance. My dog Peaches and I are an educating and training team. We are Team Peaches dog training. I adopted her from a local shelter. She was 5 minutes away from euthanasia. I arrived 5 minutes before the shelter closed for the night. She was on the next morning's euthanasia list. Today we help others, as Team Peaches Dog Training.
