Hi! No problem, there are two ways, the simple : find and use a effect called "phone voice" or "Phone effect" or "Telephone something", It's present on garageband setup, so every free DAW(Audio software) should have this. Or for the less simple way, use a bit of distortion on the voice, and low and high cut the EQ(Equaliser) and keep a small amont of frequencies in the middle (between 500 and 5K). Also, there are lots of tutorials on the internet : for exemple www.thedawstudio.com/telephone-effect/ It's really not difficult to do ^^
