Kremer's Zirconium Cerulean makes brilliant green mixes, if you want a bit of opacity. I bought their pigment and made my own watercolour paint. Love it!
This is so exciting of receiving a new pigment you've never used before: to try it with the pigments you already have and see what beautiful and unexpected combinations you can make! I had this moment when I for the first time discovered Azo Nickel Yellow.
Thank you for your review! I thought I had enough watercolours, certainly wouldn't need any more. But this colour is the perfect sky colour for our area! I checked out Kremer Pigmente and found some unique very interesting green earths, which I bought together with the Zirconium cerulean! 😁👍
Thos looks like the perfect light blue for my palette. Been looking for the perfect as the hues i have not found one i really like. The two DS ones you showed are the best light blues i have found so far but i wouldnt say they are perfect for me. This color seems to he everything would want
I like this colour, but it's not that different from the Cerulean Blue Chromium I usually use. So there's no compelling reason to get this over the usual Ceruleans.
What the heck UA-cam? You're supposed to show me Teoh's videos right away :-) I have a PB 71 from Dan Barrett, but it's not quite this beautiful. He says it's a less toxic alternative to genuine cerulean. So I guess that's the point.
(BTW, love the way you zoomed right in showing the mixes and granulation in extreme close up.)
Nice review, always appreciate the honesty 😊

Or that time when I discovered I could make a spectacular concrete color by mixing Sepia and Payne's Gray.

l looks to me like it would be the perfect Northern European sky color 😊 but if one has a lot of other Ceruleans like me, it would be just fancy 😊
Nice color but like you always say get your paints in the tubes fill your pans, also professional-grade that you can find at your local art store..
Interesting pigment. DS Manganese Blue contains white.
I think all Manganese blue hues will contain white.
It is nice to see a Singaporean artist online. :)

Informative vid. Thanks from Germany!
Interesting that you do not find PB71 useful. Thanks for your honesty. I’d still like to try this pigment one day.

@@teohyc I understand what you mean.
@@teohyc People like it for its low toxicity. Have it in my Kremer palette and think it is a nice color for mixing greens.
