Tbh, this is a drawback in my opinion. All cars should carry the same design language, which will help us to identify the brands. If you dont like the design, then start a new lineup with a bit differemt design language (like the German trios). Giving a car its own identity doesnt have to be determined by its unique design only. All BMWs, Ferraris, Hyundais dont look the same but have something in common, which makes it easier to understand the brand of the car.
Tata fans burning in the corner is what makes me happier than the fact that Maruti has now entered the safe cars list! Congrats Maruti. Hope they do this with their other cars as well. Just need one more miracle- Diesel engine!
Earlier also maruti had 5 star rated cars like Kizashi, grand vitara, sx4, but at that that no-one supported it. That's why the dropped it from their priority and only focused on rest of the things

How is the physical build quality of this one though? Like the thud, the heaviness of the door and all? Because structural improvement can get you 5 stars which is great, but I hope it feels stronger too day to day.

Dzires performance is compromised for milege not for safety. We have multiple safe yet fast vehicles already like Kylaq, Kushaq, Taigun, Polo, Ecosport, Verna etc etc

Toyota will be especially happy. The front fascia reminds that of the current gen Toyota Innova albeit a slightly toned down design factor. This should have more takers given the 5 stars for both Toyota and Maruti.. Certainly a win-win for both parties.
I think companies like google and apple should create a piece of tech or software for these car infotainment systems. With faster processors and better hardware and software we will see a significant jump in smoothness and quality and reliability
for a city car I feel this engine is more than enough ..Dzire , swift weren't meant to be enthusiastic cars anyways but from the sound of this motor seems very peppy and eager to rev which would satisfy most in day to day traffic unlike many other 3 cyl engines from manufacturers whom I wont mention
