@GraceandPeaceJoanne it's by far not a man's world in no degree. Although I've always been taught to respect women, this rather raised the bar quite a bit. I think of my Great Grand Mother who was know as as a midwife. Anyway very much to blessing to have watched the video and yes God is certainly who controls everything. Really enjoyed the explanation of good times and importance of the not so good as well. Just a wonderful video in every way. I could go on but again thank you ever so much. Precious ✨🕊️✨. Sincerely Grateful Howard
Thank you for bringing to us a biblical and highly enriched lives of Puah and Shiphrah . Could it be possible according to the KJV, that they had Egyptian names, like Merari, Kothath, Amram, etc. Could it be that the Hebrews trusted the midwifes? Could it be that they were Hebrews and were taught by the Hyksos Egyptians before the Hyksos Egyptians were compelled to leave Egypt? Because the KJV said 'the Hebrew midwives.. could it be that they were related to the Hebrews by intermarriage of kinfolk? Because I am grasping at they were trustworthy and respected by the Hebrews... what was so amazing to me that this king found out about the duties of the midwifes, their names, and their activities of what they were doing... and I believe that God's hand was upon the Hebrew midwives because they feared Him, and I also believe that there were more midwifes than Puah and Shiphrah whom might be the leaders of the midwifes for midwifery. I believe that the LORD have them prophetic vision of wisdom before they answered pharaoh that made sense, and caused them to escape the wrath of pharaoh, and GOD bless and dealt well with the midwifes, and the Hebrews multiplied, according to Genesis 15:13-21. With the midwifes, obedience to the LORD GOD was rewarding than obeying the king of Egypt. They believe GOD and were available to his revelation knowledge, not only to midwifery and how to handle adversity when occurred. Now that's a blessing! And in Chapter 2, GOD used Pharaoh's daughter to accept and adopt a baby boy of the house of Levi ( civil disobedience as the midwifes too in an indirect way). How ironic!!! The LORD put a Hebrew child to be raised by his daughter to fullfil scripture according to Genesis 15:13-21: GOD's plan and promise to Abraham!!! Thank you once again for your insight to the midwifes, Puah and Shiphrah whom followed the voice of the Lord!!!
It is such an amazing story, yes! You wrote some great insights, too. They must have been guided in some way by God long ahead of the time they became instrumental in saving so many infant Hebrew boys. Bible translations must figure out what the ancient Hebrew is meaning--is it "Hebrew midwives" or "midwives to the Hebrews"? KJV has it one way, other translations have it other ways. I went to som Hebrew scholars for help, and they indicate it is truly unknown which way to understand the ancient Hebrew words. But we love these two valiant women either way, who quietly save countless baby boys and were blessed by God for their courage.
@@GraceandPeaceJoanne Absolutely! AMEN and AMEN!!! Think 🤔 about this: how about writing a novel about them, and let me know when I can pick up a copy!!! Ok?!!
Beautiful story❤
Thank you! 🙂
Wonderful. Thank you
What a Beautiful story I was guilty of reading to fast and not taking in the blessing it brought ✨🕊️💖✨
Am so glad you took time to watch this presentation of Puah and Shiphrah. They really were remarkable women
