My H90 is still off my pedal board and on my desk hooked to my laptop. I'm still programming patches. The best 2 blocks in my chain. I'm really impressed with the "Sculpt" algorithm. Underrated drive.
Thanks for a great demo. Love my H90 had it since day one. Nice Christmas gift ,new algorithm from Eventide! Your organ playing sounded like real keyboard voicing great job..
I really liked the string sounds and the fact that it is polyphonic. The monophonic analog bass presets from 2:35 didn't do it for me however. but a lot of potential there. How is the tracking and the latency? That's most important
Tried so many guitar synth options including GR1, GR55, SY 300, SY200. and they were all really not great. Last night, I tried Polysynth and was blown away. It's the best guitar synth I've ever used. I like having LFO amount on 1 and building using the LFO to shape the attack on background droning tones blended in with guitar chords.
Sounds lovely Leon ! I’ve just updated my H90 . Although I haven’t really got my head around the original version !! But I’m really after some pad stuff !! Where’s the poly synth hiding ? That’s right up my Street 🤘
Would love to see some kind of auto latch for the freeze, main issue for me with the polysynth algorithm is that the chords/notes don't really have a release to the envelope, previous chords cuts off as you play a new one... which would be pretty weird on an actual polyphonic synth. Certainly workarounds with using verb/delay to make a faux release but yeah, for this reason I've kept my superego plus, one of the only pedals the h90 hasn't replaced for me!
Hi Leon, Great vid as ever... would you be so kind as to tell me how you have it hooked up, routing wise, at home? Ill be roing it through a mkiv boogie. Thanks in advance Rob
Thanks for this amazing demo. Could you please explain how you manage performance parameters to do the « play over » config of the introduction ? Thanks in advance
I assigned the middle footswitch on the unit to the Polysynth "hold" function. The H90 was run in the loop of my Axe-Fx parallel to the main distorted sound.
Thanks for another great video Leon! Is this the first algorithm you can’t recreate in the FM3? Deciding if I need an H90 (they sound so amazing) or should just go headfirst into the FM3.
The H3000 does what it does very well but it has a particular character that can't be dialled out, which is either a good or bad thing depending on what you want. The H90 is a lot more transparent and there's a way more diverse set of fx. @@1twangmaster
@@LeonToddI thought my Eventide Micropitch pedal was more transparent than the H3000 I borrowed from a friend as well. Do you feel you can get as big of a ambient and wide spread from the Micropitch as the H3000? Maybe just a matter of adjustment?
Fantastic addition (and walkthrough)! QQ: I don't see these algos after the update. (I see 13 post 1.7.1 update for polysynth.) Any chance you know if they were renamed or might we have to do something to load them other than just update?
So expensive. but interesting tool and has it's uses. I'd like to see them add the option to delay the output & thus increase the modeling for better attacks and legatos, if they don't have it.
Love your demos, man! Still can't get myself to buy one of these....they're around 1100Euros here in Germany, due to import taxes/customs importing from the states is only very slightly less expensive (it's around 1050 Euros imported). Still, these things are just very very awesome, hope to be able to get one eventually. Take care
@@LeonTodd That would be incredible. For synth sounds i got the Neural DSP Rabea plugin, which i like and for recording it's fine. Still, i'd love to have a synth pedal and this Eventide algorithm just sounds really great. As does all of their stuff. Love this company.
Hey Leon, Great video as always! Where can I find the Celestial Strings preset in the intro? I have just upgraded my software to 1.7.1 and can't seem to locate it.
Another Monday Q&A topic…. Christmas is approaching, what are some unique gift ideas for a guitarist who already has a lot of everything? Budget is around $50-$75 USD range.
Leon, Do you think the AxeFx III has a similar algorithm? Could you do the same things with that? I'd rather not spend an additional $900 to get something I might already have.
I get a similar sound with the Boss GM 800 and my Quad Cortex using my Godin that has 3 outputs, 13 pin, acoustic and electric. It sounds killer. Check my channel for an example. No, I’m not a UA-camr. I made these to show a couple of people in a group.
Tone is in the cat butt.
That explains a lot for me.
I’m a dog person.
I oil my fretboards with the excretions from cat butt scent-glands, really gives the neck a fine antique patina and vintage feel.

very good IMO

I'm particularly impressed with how few "false triggers" there are. Stunning synth!
The 1000 tones-man 🎉
That organ sound is surprisingly authentic sounding.
Pretty good hey. Been really impressed with this
Love my H90, great vid!
Love your vids too mate! Always inspiring

This thing is Synthwave for the guitar. Love it.

Celestial strings with black hole pairing 👀 oh I’m gonna go find that one sometime today. Reminds me of 80s fantasy films. Cat butts appreciated.

Excellent. Thanks.
What a amazing video have a good weekend ❤
Thank you! You too!
This is really good. Plus your cat looks just like my last one, unfortunately had to put her down due to cancer.Heartbeaking
So sorry to hear that mate. They bring us so much joy and it's so hard to say goodbye.
Sounds AMAZING. Going to get the H90 ASAP. I have an H9 and will still keep that. Eventide’s the best…
You can export your H9 preset list and import it into the H90 too!
Thanks for this amazing demo. Could you please explain how you manage performance parameters to do the « play over » config of the introduction ? Thanks in advance

These Eventide H series pedals will go down in history as stone cold classics
Stunning pedals!

I’d like to cast my vote for a Five Killer Tones video with the PolySynth algorithm 😊

Check the Patch Storage website

Awesome video...any advice on H90 connectiong to my FM3 or Quad Cortex...
Chuck it in the loop, midi it up and dial in a few presets which place it pre and post amps. Rip!
Well this algo just made a pedal I felt was a bit overpriced worth it all by itself. Very cool!!

Those Sounds are not in the newest Database
Hey Leon, Great video as always! Where can I find the Celestial Strings preset in the intro? I have just upgraded my software to 1.7.1 and can't seem to locate it.
That's a program I made - you can see the factory presets involved are "PWM Strings" and a tweaked "Blackhole" preset.
Many thanks! I was able to do just that!
Are the sounds at the beggining and ending default presets?
The Blackhole reverb is a slightly modified factory preset, the synth is the PWM Strings preset.
How do I get this on my H90 ? is it a software update ? on synth all I have is Hotsawz and Synthonizer.
Yes. Go to the website and get the latest release of control, then navigate to the update page.
@@LeonTodd thanks Leon
Great, back to the holly grail of the universe!!!
Another Monday Q&A topic…. Christmas is approaching, what are some unique gift ideas for a guitarist who already has a lot of everything? Budget is around $50-$75 USD range.
Excellent idea!
So you were running the h90 into the fractal??
Correct
Eres increible
is this available for the H9 or just the H90
Just the H90. I think the H9 has stopped receiving new updates/algos.
thanks Leon - that kinda sucks though - great demo as usual
Leon,
Do you think the AxeFx III has a similar algorithm? Could you do the same things with that? I'd rather not spend an additional $900 to get something I might already have.
The Axe doesn't have a polyphonic synth. EHX 9 series is a cheaper way to add some synth sounds without a special pickup
Cat thumbnail - instant win
That's why we're all here right?
@@LeonTodd Sick tones and fluffy little dudes. That's the full package

let's hear a tight gated synth arpeggio. The pads and chords are cool but a lot of people use synths for sequences.

I enjoyed the gm800 when I borrowed one. I'm impressed how well this Tesla without having to use a GK style pickup.
