Another factor pa yung time dilation na nangyayari sa buhay niya (synonymous with theory of relativity) kung saan sa sobrang bilis ng mga nangyayari, sa dami ng mga bagay na kailangan niyang gawin at paglaanan ng oras (work, studies, exercise, bonding with friends, passions, quality time with loved ones) ay parang hindi sapat, that's why parang always in a hurry si Piolo sa scene at the same time naka-slow motion yung time frame to add effect sa time dilation na nangyayari. Making it black and white also adds another layer of negative emotion which is regret because he's been pursuing the 'wrong' things for so many years instead of pursuing the love of his life. I believe this song tells a tale of what being brokenhearted feels like and its stages. The first scene represents the act of reminiscing and selectively remembering what once was, and making up our own version of what could have been, forgetting why the break-up happened in the first place. This was when Piolo looks at a projection of Candy, shadow hugging, surrounded by hanging films, while being in front of a broken mirror. The second scene is spontaneous, as if everything is happening all at once. It's because it represents the breakdowns. From Piolo tossing what seemed like nuts or some sort from Jim's bowl which could mean how being brokenhearted affects the appetite, to the chess scene with Kyle and Enzo while Piolo was pounding himself on the chest, interrupting the game shortly after. Depicting how time and waiting is impossible to bear for a brokenhearted. Shortly after the breakdown, Piolo headed to the kitchen where Sab was holding books, grabbing them and returning them. He worked out then drank wine from Manny's glass after. This depicts self-indulgence, how we try to go back to our hobbies to distract ourselves away from what's hurting. Piolo then sat but couldn't stand the upbeat piano melody Jim was playing so he ran upstairs where he sat again and sulked because of Jason's mellow playing of the guitar. This represents how we turn to music to resonate with our pain while ignoring or even finding it irritating to force ourselves to listen to something that doesn't comfort us at all. Piolo then finds himself ravaging his bedroom and destroying his pillows which represents finding ourselves throwing fits of bitterness and rage. Finally, Piolo goes down and looks at a projection of Candy one last time before dancing with the band members-dancing and harmonizing with all his demons and every part of himself. Representing how at the end of the day, we'll just have to learn to live with it all until we can comfortably dance around the thought that what once was could never turn into something that could have been for everything was supposed to happen the way it did.
