Love Merejka kit ❤ I saw they have this design in different seasons, also with extra little pieces stitched on a bigger one. Would love to see you progress and your thoughts on it
Loved all your WIPs Liz! I have always seemed to struggle with an evolving sense of cross stitch taste. I always want to stitch things that will fit aesthetically in my home decor but then I find that limits me so much. This last year, I stitched my first Veronique Enginger and finished it as an ornament for a friend I enjoyed it so much! I think I just need to accept that sometimes it's fun to stitch things that are completely outside my norm and if they don't fit into my home, I can still enjoy every minute of creating it. I have been very inspired by your cross stitch style this year and am hoping 2024 brings lots of stitching time and learning new things! Thanks for a wonderful WIP parade ❤
I am so glad you found projects this past year to stitch that are just for you! They are great. That Mereshka one is great. I hope to get the Winter pattern of that series during the year and start it next year as a winter wip.
Great job! You inspired me to work on my stocking. I have all the issues and have always loved them. Do what you enjoy and what makes you happy. Your a wonderful talented designer and such a pleasure to watch thank you so much for sharing.
Liz!! Thank you for the shout out!! I am going to be working on Christmas Cove quite a bit this year.. I'll be honest.. I have a few Dimensions WIP's that are going to be ufo'd this year bc I just don't enjoy them but I have more than several I want to start!! And even more on my wishlist..I am obsessed.. I love the kits, I love organizing them just as much as stitching them 😊
I’m actually watching more for your project bags that the actual pieces you’re stitching. I’m not a full coverage stitcher. I actually recognize some of the bags.
I loved this video! New subscriber! I received the Santa’s Cottage by Luca-S as a Christmas gift from my son! I cannot wait to start it. I have not done one of these big kits in over 20 years! It gives me joy to see you embrace these older style kits! ❤❤
Nice work on your stocking. I have done 11 of those stockings. Four dimensions kit stockings and four Shepard bush stockings. No more stockings for me. Have fun. Happy stitching.
You will probably like the Stoney Creek designs if you like the Dimensions. I still have one Dimensions Gold left to stitch - Christmas tree with a kitten. I also make copies and highlight on the PIA patterns. If you get bored with those 😅 look up Teresa Wentzler designs. You can still find them out there in the wild.
It was so fun watching your WIP video. You are a brave woman doing full coverage. I only say that because I have never done one and I think it would be too overwhelming for me. I noticed you struggling with your project bags. I have bought mesh project bags from the Container Store and never have the zipper catch like that. Just a suggestion! 😊
I have that Better Homes & Gardens Heirloom Stockings book and I've made 3 of the stockings. It took me about a month to do each-- monogamously stitching while watching Hallmark Christmas movies 🤣
Happy Blessed New Year: I hope you have a healthy and stitch filled year. Love the old magazines, they have some great designs. I stitched Mike the Santa Bench way back when; it is a beauty, nice progress. I am loving the kits you are showing.
Thanks for sharing your stitching! It must be fun to stitch projects that are different from what you design; a difference between work and fun. I was looking through an older needlepoint book today that has some interesting landscape projects with light shown. Its called Glorafilia The Impressionists in Needlepoint by Carole Lazarus and Jennifer Berman. Specifically the first section might be up your alley. I've stitched a few pieces from neelepoint books, just needing to choose my own colors. ❤️
Liz I love your passion. I am a huge collector and yet still love samplers. I like to mix them together in display and think of the visions of a small girls world and her interpretations of flowers, animals and such. I think both kits and primitive samplers are glorious together and tell their own story . That being said my 2024 plans include your vanity sampler along with two dimensions ;). I’ll tag you on progress . Hugs and thanks for sharing your love 💗
I love your projects so much! I’m an eclectic stitcher so my stitching is all over the place in terms of style. It’s refreshing to see some different styles of stitching!
I’ve never heard anyone else say that but my stitches look their absolute best when I stitch up or to the left as well. I often wonder if it’s because I’m left handed?
Thank you for sharing your wonderful wips. I stitched on of the Christmas stockings for my son many, many years ago with the plan of making one each for me and hubby. Seeing yours makes me want to start them. I haven’t seen Christmas Cove before. It’s gorgeous! Love your winter themes. Have fun stitching!
Liz, when I was young these kits are all I stitched. I stitched monogamous and finished in 2 or 3 months. It’s so fun to see you so excited about them. When I would go to the craft store, one side of an aisle would be nothing but kits. The other side was floss, fabric, scissors, needles and whatever else they had. I bought the Woodland Glow kit after you showed it in another video. I can’t wait to start stitching it. I also wanted to let you know the books you showed the other day. The Heritage Village Collection. There’s one more book. It’s blue and all Christmas. It’s my favorite.
Hi, Liz. I love seeing your enthusiasm for the Dimensions kits. I like that you are stitching other designs than your own designs and doing something for yourself. I am looking forward to seeing more of your progress on the Dimensions kits you have selected. I am so tempted to follow you down that rabbit hole! Thank you for sharing your inspiration. Happy New Year.
Thanks for sharing your WIPs! It's wonderful to see you so excited. I stitched one of the Christmas stockings for myself in the early 90s and still love putting it out each year!❤
Holler if we need to come and pull you out of the rabbit hole 😂 I love each kit and I love a winter scene too. Happy stitching. And all the very best wishes in the New Year!
Loved the Wip Parade! You had already enabled me into looking at kits on ebay and at Joann's and Michaels. I got a few kits from Michael's for Black Friday and ordered the Dimensions Christmas ornaments from Amazon. Happy New Year.
Love Merejka kit ❤ I saw they have this design in different seasons, also with extra little pieces stitched on a bigger one. Would love to see you progress and your thoughts on it
Being a slow poke stitcher just thinking about doing these full coverage pieces gives me hives😳😱😂
This is my first time watching you and I loved seeing your projects so much! Happy stitching in 2024!

How ever you stitch it is your happiness. Me i like to do rows. 3rd Dimensions stocking of the year for my best friends family.
I do enjoyed watching this video. You are inspiring.

I made 4 of those stockings and they still look beautiful
My suggestion is to do the backstitching as you go otherwise it will drive you crazy at the end

Love all your wips!! I recently fell down the full coverage rabbit hole. Sorry to my samplers 😅
Last October I dipped into the Dimensions as well ❤
Working on Japanese Garden - Spring theme but I do so love your Winter Scenes -
We have the exact same WIP basket. Love your videos.
Happy New Year and happy stitching!

I am so glad to know that I am not the only one using a working copy and a hi-lighter!!
Beautiful kits you are working on.
Liz, your enthusiasm is contagious! Happy stitching.

Love that magazine; I have All of them in 4 in 3 ring binders by date order. Awesome that you are stitching that stocking!
