The buildings rising at 0:43 to match the beat was a nice touch. The fact that you made this while also probably working on the analysis vid shows how hype this episode is. Guess I gotta go rewatch now. That dimless/ghostless version is a Godsend.
dont think ive ever seen genga in a MAD but vincents work deserves to be seen hopefully its added back in and similar cuts that couldnt be added are also seen in blu ray
Yeah JJK S2 would probs benefit heavily on blu-ray seeing as how remove ghosting overall and allow time to be finished before released unlike when its airing lmao.
You just know animators are *the* *shit* when they can pump out stuff of this level inside of what is the room equivalent of a capsule hotel for a schedule.
Even under horrible working conditions the amazing staff were still able to put out these insane works. This could have been a legendary run for the history books but it turned into a story of something still pretty amazing that was bogged down by piss poor management and a question of what could have been if the conditions were better.
if i had all the time in the world i wouldn't even dare to think through and make such a masterpiece of an episode let alone with a crazy time crunch,, talent and devotion means talent and devotion man ,,this shit is real and it hits hard, only to show how these guys truly deserve a better environment to cultivate this creativity + don't know about you but i am still waiting for the hour+ analysis of this ep,,you can't just leave me liking it without telling me why i like it 😂
@@Saucenoat yeah one year and half is definitely a good schedule for 23 episode lol One and half year is barely good for 12 episode let alone a 24 episode with every episode had a fight on it , the committee production is literally on fault here to give a shibuya arc + the hidden inventory arc a 1.5 year production
This episode was somehow even more insane than the previous episode, which should have been the highlight for the entire season... Now I'm concerned for the episodes beyond 17, because 17 was a bit TOO insane
@@Automatedresponsebot5 Easy example of results based analysis, you could only say something after the ep came out. Referring to your initial statement of "on par", it definitely wasn't but still good with some animators that are doing their work while sick RIP. I don't think anything beyond this will surpass 16 or 17. Although I want to be proved wrong, the schedule the animators have been given won't allow that SMH.
Man, what a fucking episode. Probably the best of JJK. I assume from this weeks episode onward, it’ll just be a complete crash from an animation standpoint.
We don't deserve these people. Although it's unrealistic, I hope they are able to come closer to their vision on the Bluray version but I won't hold my breath. Hopefully they can stabilize their living situation.
Amazing work as always. I found your channel when I started getting more interested in animation and you've made my love for it grow a lot with your videos
Just can't believe they pulled off this level of animation in such a horrible schedule like that and at the same time it pisses me off too cuz if they had a healthy production schedule they could've made this even better.
@@A1000-b9s I can't argue with you on that 😆😆 but what I wanted say is that at least the staff's health should be considered so they can work without any stress and other issues😩
@@vibinig_sora japanese work industry almost as a whole is stressful. It's about how Quick and Skilled the animators are to Finish The content on the schedule. For a pretty tight TV schedule like JJK. Once you have episode 16 that had more time, it makes sense that this episode has a lot shorter time. But because of how stacked the lineup was and their skill to Finish their work Quick, we had an episode like this.
@@A1000-b9sIt just makes it so much more amazing that mob psycho finished production like 3 months before it aired. That show really was something special.

Your amvs always look so good. Perfect synergy between music, story beats and visuals. I was new to the concept so I tried and find other amvs related to JJK but sadly none as good as this one. The ones I found are just a piece of music overlayed with clips of the series. Not...this. This is different.
To thin that the animators themselves said it wasn’t even their full realized vision,it makes me wonder wtf would we have witnessed if they got time to make it…
So, here is my prediction if tomorrow's episode comes out: the animation team is dying out of exhaustion but pop out the rest 5 episodes inconsistent with low/high quality and we never see this team working for jjk again. If they need a break, ep 17 was a perfect wrap up for Shibuya incident, but i guess " making money" is more important than mental/physical health, and opportunities for creative people to fully unleash their potential in the future for this show.

Favorite jjk episode. I liked it even more than the previous episode.

At 0:32 it looks so much BETTER with the scene that got cut out holy shit
It almost feels you just mended the amv together from different animes because of how unreal it is to have this much sakuga from a single episode

The staff list for this episode was insane, this season could have been opm season 1 all over again but manabu's money munching ass ruined everything.
What does manabu has to do with the disgusting schedule that was given by the production committee?
