indeed, play the damn guitar, it is not a painting where you discuss about different shades and colours, this is the most unusefull vid I've EVER seen, why haven't you played and let us, the interested fans, let hear what your mouth is blablabla-ing. Sorry man, you seem like a smart decent and a true connaisseur, because your words are no bullshit but.... WHY no sounds, tell me I'm sooooo curious - was the wife at home and couldn't make any (heavenly) noise ;-) I'm just teasing you, but the 1 million USD question I am eager to know. ;-))))) I am now looking them all up myself and thanks to your really good info and explanations I will hear them all :-) Sorry i could not let it to tease you, know I did not mean the BS because you know what you're talking about so respect! :-)
A musician who practices on a consistent daily basis is going to sound very musical and in time and in tune regardless of pickups . Scotty Anderson Greg Koch any pickups will do.
Lambertones Blondies are fantastic. In particular the neck pickup. By far the best tele neck pickup I’ve ever heard. For the bridge I like it hot so I go with the Lollar Special T. Amazing combination.
The goldilock zone for Telecaster tone on my guitar comes from a SD Hot Rail bridge with a stock single coil '99 standard Telecaster neck pickup. The aggressive bridge & mellow neck tones make for the perfect blend through my hybrid 15 watt Fender X2 head in to an Eminence 1X12 cab.....
Oripure make a hotrail telecaster A5 pickup, which I found suits the telecaster better than the ceramic, also a great sounding vintage wound pickup is the Alchemy A4 Esquire pickup for those brave people who a p90 in the next by bare knuckle, I had the half tone p90 and the mentioned A4 esquire pickup. What a lovely sounding guitar especially through the carlsbro classic 15, with the non standard alnico celestion blue speaker, or the extension speaker which was fitted with Alnico celestion Ruby's for the old school blues sounds
This video is just a promotional advertisement for Fender pickups, with lots of flowery characterization, but no audio comparison. Don't waste your time.
"Best" telecaster pickup list without including Fralin, Lollar, Van Zandt, Fishmann, Kinman, Lundgren, DiMarzio etc. etc. but including Tonerider LOL. Not saying I dislike Fender and SD but these are just the most widespread options if anything.
If you can't afford Ron Ellis, then both Lollar and Bare Knuckle are much better than the ones they are talking about..... Also Suhr for that matter........
The original magnets on the bridge of a Telly are .197 fender switched to Smaller magnets in the 1960s. And Mr Computer voice 1950 is pronounced nineteen-fifty, not 1000 900 50 only dorks talk that way.
Nothing against Fender (all talk resting on past laurels) musical instruments, however, this infomercial gives the impression it was cloned from You-Know-Who’s advertising copy. Did Fender backward engineer and analyze a 1951 bridge enamel wire coating, wire composition, alnico 3 magnet larger diameter and composition, is the baseplate ..06 inch did they use vintage spec cold rolled steel then zinc plating or did Fender use cloth hook up wire and stamp their name for example…
Klein, Don Mare before he retired, SD, Novack, Harmonic Design to name a few who actually gave a shxt…to reproduce vintage tones. Sounds like Fender paid this channel. Seymour Duncan made a variety Telly pickups but used 42 instead of 43 gauge on his Broadcaster…however he’s cool guy that makes gr8 pickups, too
Why would you create a nerd robot reader? No Chad robots available? Monthly plan limits how many Chad voiceovers you get and the freebies are automatically nerded?
Great video. However, what I hope to find are these squealing, almost microphonic sounding pickups that became so synonymous with Roy Buchanan's playing style. Maybe you could tell me what brings me closest to that (I know the amps and his fingers play a huge part of this as well).
@@mariodriessen9740 Thanks! I have ordered the SD Broadcaster set (bridge and neck), really excited to fit them. I don't want too much bridge glassy/squeal though, more rounded. Looking for a lap-steel sound, like Roy's. Hope I made the right choice. Any thoughts?
@@maxwellfan55 : I’m not sure. I wanted a bright sound and the SD Broadcaster is pretty bright. I basically tried to find the brightest pu I could find for my Telecaster.
Hoax reviews like this exist for suckers who click the affiliate links. A robot-voiced presenter and no playing samples make this anti-content. I do recommend the Pure Vintage 64 set though.
Did the computer narrated maker of this video realize the deluxe drives in spot 10 were strat pickups? Likewise, if you're not doing side by sides, this is worthless other that as an advertisement for #1. Fender, #2. SD, #3.TONE RIDER.
Why do these people reading lines say stupid things like calling 1950 tele as one thousand nine hundred fifty?? And pronounce live as live (like live concert)when it is the other obvious live.Does anybody else notice that
On of The best one is not on your list. Ron Ellis 52T Bridge. It is the choice of many of the Nashville players from Brad Paisley, J.D. Simo, Zak Childs and the list goes on.
When you swap pickups in a guitar ... some fellows do NOT need the best ones. Some fellows can barely play guitar or have no 'knack' for it. Get what you need and it may be cheap offshore - made pickups...

Nothing like having a Bot mangle English while talking through telecaster tones
I love the one thousand nine hundred and fifty’s tones 😂
I caught that too ! Is this guy Ceri's bother?
AI has come a long way, probably machine reading. Some parts sound really good but this one blew it
And the alnico vee magnets!!😅
without playing each side by side this is not helpful

Whilst showing removing humbuckers from a les paul 🤦🏼♂️
Yea… how you not gonna show us how they sound? Lol
This is a BOT video. The voice ia a computer
Bot!
Imagine showcasing guitar pickups without playing a note on the guitar
with a robot voiceover who can't say the year correctly...
@@parlance.electricco I get a kick out of the nah-caster pronunciation....
@@parlance.electricco And saying Alnico Vee, it is Alnico 5 🙂
Ha. No need to imagine it.
Haha Robot! 2:49 (tribute to the original one thousand nine hundred fifties . . . 🤣)
3:03 "The Alnico Vee magnets are slightly larger with a diameter of 197 inches" That's gonna be a heavy guitar 🤣
I still love my SD Vintage Broadcaster pickups. Totally magic playing through my Deluxe Reverb.
I love these bot narrated videos!
Totally. A supernatural guide through the mind of a Commodore 64.
A musician who practices on a consistent daily basis is going to sound very musical and in time and in tune regardless of pickups . Scotty Anderson Greg Koch any pickups will do.
The best pickups are the ones you have ! Make music with them :)
AAAANNNDD... no sound comparison. It's like leading a bunch of blind people through a museum and saying which art is better. Don't tell me... SHOW ME!
Exactly
Lambertones Blondies are fantastic. In particular the neck pickup. By far the best tele neck pickup I’ve ever heard. For the bridge I like it hot so I go with the Lollar Special T. Amazing combination.
For Tele and Strat, Joe Barden pickups have been my choice for the last 30 years.
Boy robot cracks me up. Wound..? Pex
Total marketing-speech bullshit.
I have eight Telecasters, and I’m totally enamored with the TV Jones Starwood bridge pickups. They are the best that I have found.
A vote for the tex mex, have them on a 40th anniversary, squier telecaster, no complaints.
I love them

Only Fender and SD? Not much of a list
Because they are the best pick ups for a Tele.
They also mention Tone Riders. They are great pick ups.
Lollar and Fralin are not mentioned. IMHO, these are list-worthy, Brian.
And Don Mare pickups.
3:40 "since the one thousand nine hundred seventies" lol
What is the best pickup set for Jazz ?
This is the question!
The Tele tone control, pick choice, and fingers.
Alnico 5 !!! The V is a Roman numeral 5 !!!
I used Dimarzio Twang King set and couldn't be happier with it
This video is just a promotional advertisement for Fender pickups, with lots of flowery characterization, but no audio comparison. Don't waste your time.
“Talking about music is like dancing about architecture”
Fender Toneless noiseless pups. Cold Fusion isn’t possible but used in by Fender advertising jargon and banana oil.
Alnico V- as you say - is Alnico5. The V being a Roman Numeral for 5. Tonerider 111 are Alnico3 magnets.
Yeah it's a text to speech program so there are a lot of pronounciation errors in the video
50 shades of sound
Robo post advertising
Blah, blah, blah…
Would be nice to hear them, since they are intended to make sound. ☹️👎
-_-
If a Ai voice is making the video like this, I dont believe a word
Rubbish review often showing pickups which are not those being described. Very poor effort
THANKS!
Over wound. Now that must hurt
It's Alnico 5. The V is a Roman numeral.
Alnico dude
@@jimmy5634 ha! Thanks jimmy. Changed it.

Highly entertaining.🤣
No sound samples?
Turned it off when he said Alnico "V". Vee. It's 5.
Alnico roman three is best for sure!! 🤨
🤣
Why is Dimarzio not on this list ?
please visit our recent video
It’s “knowcaster” not nahcaster Mr. Robot.
Where is dimarzio?

“The one slash four pickups”?
Area Hot T in bridge is a winner.

How about mojotone they make amazing telecaster pick ups
If you guys ever need voice over by a guy who knows guitars, get in touch
I was thinking of suggesting that exact same thing....
How the actual best tele pickup set, Sunbear's broad five-0 is not on this list is mind blowing lol
Why would you create a nerd robot reader? No Chad robots available? Monthly plan limits how many Chad voiceovers you get and the freebies are automatically nerded?
Lollars and Seymour Custom Shop is the only pickups worthy of my axe

Danny Gatton pickups 👌🏽
SD Broadcasters?
Roy was a lap steel player before guitar, this was his most exploited bread and butter sound.
@@maxwellfan55 : That’s what I bought and I’m happy with it (bridge pu only). 😊

Since the one thousand nine hundred seventies you say?
maybe!..
As soon as I heard Alnico V (as in v not 5) I stopped listening. If the list is done by someone not understanding that, there's no point to it.
That all depends on the wood
You should let us hear them!!!
Quote "Seymour Duncan uses.................Alnico V magnets.... slightly larger with a diameter of one hundred and ninety seven inches ? ? ? 🤣 🤣 🤣
Tell me the voice dubbing this isnt computer generated.
This video was a waste of my time and I only watched the first chapter.
Just a bunch of stolen stock photos and crappy text to voice. No sound samples. Big thumbs down.
On of The best one is not on your list. Ron Ellis 52T Bridge. It is the choice of many of the Nashville players from Brad Paisley, J.D. Simo, Zak Childs and the list goes on.
2023? That's old stuff! 😂
But a Abigail Yabbara wound fender vrs some nameless winder…..🤷♂️
This is literally spam to get you to click on Amazon affiliate links
NOt a very accurate selection, in my opinion. Ron Ellis, Bare Knuckle, Ox4...etc
Someone phoned it in when it came to pickup research.
When you swap pickups in a guitar ... some fellows do NOT need the best ones. Some fellows can barely play guitar or have no 'knack' for it. Get what you need and it may be cheap offshore - made pickups...
I got more information from the comments
A video about pick up should have the sound of the pick up…….
Definitely narrated by a text-to-speech reader.
but we covered info!
Bare knucle country boy, no doubt
B.S............lol Get Ron Ellis pickups and know you have the best.......
if not for the AI reading, i might have taken this video seriously...
Not much good without a sound demo-- wast of time really lol
you are right! i will trying to make it with sound demo!
i would like to have listened to them in the video
This is a fender commercial
A video about the 'best' Tele pickups but we cannot listen to them 🤨?
197 inch pickups
And over wound as over wooned
Bah ha ha ha......😂no Lollar, Ron Ellis, Bare Knuckle or a slew of boutique makers? Ridiculous and stupid.
This is a video pamphlet. It doesn’t help much.
This video is a waste of time. The best telly pick ups out there are Jason Lollars or Lindy Frallin pick ups .
wtf! a robot voice over !!! well ill be sure to take your advice !!! unreal
That bot mangling the English language is irritating. Please find a human that can read and talk.
Don Mare. The end.
I’m not going to listen to anything AI anymore.
3:37 since the 1000 900 70s 😑
Me cansaste!!! No aguanto más la fanfarroneria gringa.
lol this comparison makes zero sense without actual playing examples, we need soundclips
