I'm going to be refreshing my cousin's dreads in a few days. He has about an inch of new growth, maybe more. I've done it two or three times before and I just twisted/hand rolled them with some wax/gel but this seems so much more secure than hand rolling. I've seen some people saying this could lead to traction alopecia if done incorrectly. Is this worth a shot if I'm careful to not do it too tight? And can it be done without product?
Hi Dineo.✨️Love your videos. Just wanna say the puffy part of your locs is actually called the budding stage, meaning your locs are starting to mature. Hope this helped😊
