Correct. I think a lot of newer skaters coming into the sport have been suggested this idea of flat setups being the 'pinnacle' of aggressive skating. It's down to personal preference and how you want your skates to perform!
I haven't skated in 7-8 years and certainly haven't watched a part in as much time, it seems like he skates for fun rather than anything else. While I don't appreciate this type of skating because I guess I'm not familiar with it, it's cool to see him still out there skating. My favourite skating was back when him and bailey were with Valo, it was the pinnacle for me! I get the thought that this seems like if someone never saw skating they would say this guy could really be amazing one day when really he has been at the top for decades!
