I think that when Shaikh Imran says No one in the Uk or elsewhere dares to condemn the modern monetary system , he actually talks about influential people. I'm not saying Shaykh Asrar Rashid isn't influential. I mean A person that is famously, internationally influential. For instance, in islamic countries leaders are more often the clerics. but they don't condemn the system. In secular nations, even though religious clerics are influential, the most influential ones are the politicians. They don't either condemn the system. Allah knows best!

i agree with most of the comments on here....sh imran hosein has opened up the fourth dimension of islam that scholars have forgotten for some time now. he has been the only scholar to wake the ummah up and to make them realise that the science of the signs of the last age are indeed an important part of the deen as shown in the jibraeel hadith.

The speaker is backbiting. Sheikh Imran hosein always warns not to take him for granted unless you are convinced. He is honest in basing his stance on the Quran and Hadith. If there is any mismatch between his speech and practice, it is between him and Allah.

It's quite astonishing to note that when any one muslim gives a fair and honest opinion in a constructive way albeit in contradiction to another sheikh or learned scholar, almost everyone takes sides and pits the one against the other. That my friends, is not in the spirit of 'unity' or islam. Period. Certainly I have the highest regard for the esteemed Sheikh Imran Husain AND also for this learned sheikh, albeit in a different context.

When ulamas are involved, disagreements of ulamas stays within ulamas. Ulama will not bring audience and laymen in this disagreement to create disputes. But when people think they are ulama just because the audience make them think they are, then you see this type of attitudes
