Every face.....a life. Every face......someone who wanted to be loved. These souls have passed this way and made their imprint on our lives. We knew them, we loved them . I wish they could have been around longer to share their imperfect selves with the rest of us imperfect ones left behind. One day, we will see them again and embrace them and all the time lost. Decisions can make, or break someone. Some of them had no choice. I weep for all of them. I have been lucky. I escaped the curse that raced through our community. I fell in love, was monogamous for over 40 years and buried my love when he died in 2017. I wish all of these faces could have been as lucky. God Bless them all.......
Thanks for the video. Those were the days of government inaction. So many lives lost, so much talent cut short. I recognize some of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence and the SF Gay Chorus who suffered so many casualties to AIDS. I wonder how many of us survived this ordeal. Could only celebrate the lives of those who fought to the last breath.
When I watch your videos I think how very courageously all those people lived their short lives, and with such dignity! Thank you for sharing! God bless you!
Thanks Drama Dad. I'm sure I was in those marches some where. Sure does take me back and I'm thankful for all the lives here and to know that they made a difference. Never forget.
My first time in San Francisco was in '83,followed every year after, saw and experenced free life not known in my hometown. So many good friends out there now long gone. They are still in my throughts.Since then my bestest buddy,as well as my brother, have died of aids as well. God bless them all.
The opening song Days of Decision by Philip Ochs was about the Vietnam. Very fitting for this video. Both crises brought senseless deaths to many young people. The singer also died very young at only 35. I remember both very well.
I have the utmost respect and admiration for this community of that generation because they had to fight for civil rights, healthcare, housing, and jobs. Even though they were discriminated against and battling a deadly disease they still made it their mission to advocate and help each other. Incredible people and true warriors. It brings tears to my eyes that they didn’t get to enjoy the benefits they fought so hard for. No disrespect but the new generation gets everything without effort and are reaping the rewards of those that fought and passed. Thank you for these videos that are like opening a time capsule.😢
They were very selfless. They WANTED the next generations to have it better. They just wanted to be remembered for having fought the good fight for a better future for everyone in the lgbtqia+ community.🥲✨💖✨🌈💫
Finally a new video! Thank you. Seeing these people fighting for their rights knowing they were suffering from a fatal disease is really humbling and inspiring. Thank you for another amazing video. Don't forget to post more!

Thank you Drama Dad for this wonderful video. I think I already asked the question but I'm not sure of the answer: I was wondering if each time you freeze frame on a person rather than another, is it a person you have you known personally and above all is this person dead? Thank you for your reply. We are all waiting for the next videos with great impatience anyway... Thank you from Lille, North France. PS : Is this Sylvester on the chart? ;)

Yes am editing the new footage but work gets in the way … soon!!
