Yeah it’s called a pretzel loop and the reason why it does that is well it’s called G-force which forces you go out a little bit

the part in the loop where your back hits the seat and you’re basically laying down was my favorite part, i felt like i could take a nap in that moment

The first loop that pushes your head back is terrifying but the rest of the ride I truly did feel like super man. 10/10 Would Highly recommend
Pretzel loops are some of the most intense elements on any coaster especially something like tatsu at magic mountain
As a 12 year old I went on this roller coaster for the first time today, and it was my first big roller coaster. Everybody says the loop is horrible but I think that it was really fun!! You just get pressed up against the seat fir a few seconds. The drop, you cannot feel it. It's such a great ride!
Honestly, the loop was bad for me today I almost passed out 😂

For any first time people that wanna go on this ride I know it might be terrifying, but I suggest the front or near the front or cause it’s more smoother

Kind of teared up a bit. This was my first rollercoaster at a major theme park, and my first suspended coaster as a kid. Brings back so many memories
Would you ride again? In 2015 I came with friends. I got to the seat just to turn back around and depart. Glad I did. I didn't know the seat rotated belly down. Though I think I could handle it. Doesn't seem like much a steep drop, which I dislike. I've been binge watching videos.
@@Jai8959 I did actually. Went to fright fest a couple of years ago with some college buddies, and went on it again. Was definitely worth it.
same. difference is i was like19 lmao. rode el torro, kingda ka, and nitro a few days ago to beat my fear of heights. & we rode this right after el torro (first coaster of the day) love this coaster lmaoo.
@@Jai8959 ride it, you're going to love it. coming from someone who hated roller coasters until a few days ago when i finally got the balls to ride all the coasters in the park. This one is really fun actually. Not too intense and a great starter compared to the others. Batman feels a bit faster and has more inversions. Superman is a bit slower and the first drop isnt steep at all you turn and fall at the same time. Only part you should worry about is 0:53 its insane lmao. But also the best part of the ride. Just don't be tense, act like you're superman and you'll love it lmaoo
I love how it dives straight into that terrifying pretzel loop in the beginning, it really doesn't hold back

Depends on where you sit, from what I've found. I've ridden this coaster dozens of times and that pretzel loop drop hits harder in the rear rows than it does in the front.

This ride terrifies me. I went on it with my friends and it was first ride of the day (got on it due to pressure) I hated the fact i was forced to look at the ground and although the restraints were secured, that loop part was terrifying,i felt like I was rolling around even though i didnt actually move around. Positive part of this ride was that my head didn't move or bang against the restraints and i didnt feel sick. I think this experience was bad for me because, we were literally at the last row.
I went on this rollercoaster a few days ago and i was the second to last row i remember my head being down for most of the ride it was like super terrifying and after I got made fun of for being scared on the ride
The front seat is def the best, I’d say it’s always worth the wait, that goes for pretty much everything at SFGA. Also going on a weekday is pretty much required to have a good day riding in the front
How do you have a loop that goes down instead of up?
Because you're laying down, not sitting. The g forces push you against your back.

this thing drops does a loop lots of turns then inversion and finally brakerun
bruh every time the trains turn into a flying position, I hear people screaming before it even starts. lots of people don't like flying coasters because instead of make them feel like they are flying, it feels like your going to fall straight down if a restraint failure occurs (including myself) still this coaster is very intense, don't let it's size fool you, because at the bottom of that pretzel loop, you can feel weightlessness.

I love this ride! This September, I disused to overcome my fear of rollercoasters and went on Nitro! Yes, Nitro was my biggest rollercoaster I ever went on, and my favorite :). I went on it again, then Batman 4 times, Bizzaro 6 times, Superman 1 time, and Jersey Devil 2 times. The park had like nobody there, but I think everyone was on Superman! Then line was pretty long, all the other rides were very short lines. I wasn’t afraid at all going on this, and it was my first flying coaster too! But there was something I liked about the long line, personally, when going up the lift hill I was able to wave at everyone below! Almost the whole line waved back and that was just awesome in my opinion! And the drop was so cool! I shall green lantern going into the loop, then turned to the left. My dad didn’t know this but, his wallet came flying out on the drop! All of him card scattered on the grass! But anyways, the diving loop thing was extremely intense! My pants went up a little, which made the rest of the ride uncomfortable, and after the diving loop, people were looking at my legs going past them! Then the rest were lots of turns, feels like your flying! Then the barrel roll at the end made everyone on the train scream! Then the break run… I hated it. About my pants, they were shorts, they were uncomfortable durning the wait for the next train to go. We were sitting there for like 5 minutes! The two people next to me and my dad were touching the people in front of us shoes! My blood was rushing to my head also. Then when we were in the station, I was so relieved! I got up and was about to run down the stairs so we can go on Twix until my dad noticed his pockets were empty! He asked the workers if he can go get his stuff and they said no! My dad was really upset, but he hopped the fence anyways and found all of our stuff! Except his sixflags card, but he has his card on his phone, which wasn’t important at all! I had a very fun, and interesting time on Superman. Which is why I love watching videos of Superman! Just to remember the fun time I had on it. (Also great Superman POV!)

@@SeeingDoubIe actually, El toro is super fast. Like so fast, its just hard for you to process the ride. I went on El toro at the middle/back and Im not a thrill seeker but my god, I was shocked after the ride was done. I wouldn't recommend the back just because you'll feel the drops more and not to mention the ride is already fast to begin with.

@Unusual_ very very close to vomit. I had to keep my head sideways for a while so I didn't. I also went on a more chill ride soon after, and the Superman Sickness almost made me throw up on it.

@Soup it's because you get pulled hard into your seat on that large half loop after the initial drop. If you ride it in the back you will never what to ride front or middle on that ride

Front row, I know it sounds crazy but in the back you will get flung because the front pulls you down on the first drop. This goes for any coaster really.
This ride is insanely intense but a great coaster in general I’d start with something more tame like Jersey Devil or Nitro (nitro was my first big coaster)

I just graduated middle school last week and this was my senior trip, go on it trust me, my friend kept telling me to ride it with him and i told him helll naww but i gave in so i got on line and when i was getting in that seat i was sweating down to my knees cuz of how nervous i was but then after the drop oh my god best coaster ive riden (im to scared to go on the big ones) the only scary part is the upside down but trust me try it
