I’ve been down Schofield Pass to the Devils Punchbowl through Marble……get BBQ!…..then back around to Kebler Pass to Crested Butte on dirt bikes many times. Absolutely fabulous!
So just a heads up another GREAT SPOT while there is the Slumgullion Earthflow its pretty dam cool !!! The Slumgullion Earthflow National Natural Landmark is a rare example of an earthflow, called mass wasting.
Kebler Pass is stunning! As mentioned in the video, it is not a "hidden gem", but that shouldn't stop you from making the journey. So many things to see and do, and even more beautiful in the fall colors!
Don’t forget to tell people that on the non paved part of the road…..if wet out, ya need to wash you vehicle asap. They put stuff on the road to keep the dust down, it will rust stuff fast!
If you're curious about timing for the colors, Crested Butte hit 'peak' color over the weekend. However, the west side is a little behind, so there is still about a week or so left probably. Timing is always tricky with aspen!
Really great video. Looks like an awesome time!

Heck yeah that's a great route! The entire area is amazing, it never gets old no matter the season.
Running this during the week. We hit trails near Kenosha pass on Saturday and 285 was bananas 🍌
Oh man Kenosha absolutely turns into a parking lot during leaf season! Hopefully Kebler won't be as bad for you.

Wow! We had to look that up to see what it's all about and the information is crazy, 20 feet of movement per year in some spots?! That's wild.

It sure does make for a beautiful and easy weekend trip.

It was! Pretty cool to see not only the tree tops changing but that lower fern growth too.

Woah that's a great tip, not sure we were aware of that ourselves!
What were the exact dates you were there?
