- Michelangelo Antonioni (29 September 1912 - 30 July 2007), was an Italian film director, screenwriter, editor, and short story author. Best known for his "trilogy on modernity and its discontents"- L'Avventura (1960), La Notte (1961), and L'Eclisse (1962), as well as the English-language Blowup (1966)-Antonioni produced "enigmatic and intricate mood pieces" that rejected action in favor of contemplation, focusing on image and design over character and story
L'eclisse is my favourite ❤️
my personal favourite (l'eclisse), followed by l'avventura and blowup
Siamo passati dai grandi maestri
al Grande. Fratello. Vip
Hurra
I binged on all these films almost a decade ago. Lavventura is my fave followed by blow up and la notte as a tie. Passenger was very forgettable.
Zabriskie must be much higher
just too abstract and over sense indulgent for me.
I didn't like anything about THE PASSENGER
You're kidding!!!!!
@@suatustel746 compared to the brilliant L'AVVENTURA & L'ECLISSE(especially) & La notte, Red Desert, Blow-up .. for me it was an empty experience
@@JEFFIE-jp6kj all that films you mentioned placed in my storage you forgotten to add identification of a woman, the passenger special for me, all because j. Nicholson being told by the director to act as understated, not to cue his usual characteristics, its akin Burt Lancaster the swimmer...
@@JEFFIE-jp6kj zabraskies point and red desert didn't cut the mustard, Richard Harris was a miscast in that movie.
@@suatustel746 ok, right, I agree & take back Red Desert, not really much of a film
