Vito’s lack of showing any pain throughout the majority of the film, telling others that men do not cry, it really makes the scene of him finally start to fall apart at the sight of his son all the more impactful and heart wrenching. It just shows you how hardly anything gets to a family man, even being shot and nearly killed pales in comparison to the thought of you outliving your child. To a parent, there is no greater failure. And for him, Sonny was always a short fused sort and always in some sense got on his father’s nerves, but his father loved him nonetheless and this scene couldn’t have shown it any better. Truly a masterpiece of a film.

Was looking for the Scene where someone "subtly" or "directly" tells the Godfather, whether being "within" or "in relation" to the "family of" the "Godfather" that "He" is "Gay" whether "intentional" or "Auto-Biographically" Unfortunately that scene wasn't to be found here.

the Danicing scene with all the women he had in bis life , the. music with it which is beautiful, then the cut to all alone in sicily and dying alone really sums up his life, an amazing scene.

So many too choose from, one that's missing here is the family meeting when Sonny and tom Hagan are argiung over Salozzo, and Michael cooly, coldy and calmy takes charge and with his legs crossed and arms on his chair says he will kill both Salozzo and Mcluskey, it's the beginning of his journey as the Don and an insight into the monster he would become.

There were two big problems with III. First, there was nothing to demonstrate how the Michael we saw in II became the one we saw in this movie. Second, each scene dragged for too long.

I’ve said it before, don’t know how this showed up on my feed. Talk about a trigger. I’ve been betrayed by both my parents and then by my siblings to keep the awful truth quiet. From the bottom of my heart betrayal from my siblings is 1000x worse. Forget closure, it still makes me cry.

I loved the movie, BUT, we must remember that it was also reputedly popular with the wise guys, because it made them look honorable, which they weren't. They were, and are, low down scum who preyed on their own. This is a MOVIE, not reality.
