This happened to me a while back...I hadn't seen my buddy in a long time and when I hugged him I just started tearing up and got overwhelmed with emotion! It was surprising and wonderful!

That’s so nice! 🥺 my wife unfortunately didn’t have the same luck when she had our two kids… all her "friends" disappeared when she needed them most, I felt so bad for her because I know that a woman really needs someone to at least talk to them in these cases.

I get PTSD thinking about old friends all the time. I found out one was a USMC Captain who served in Iraq and Afghanistan. He gave a semi-famous speech in Afghanistan years ago. He seemed like the type to go to the military when were friends as little kids. I hope he's still alive and doing well now

I had a great friend in 3rd grade who went missing for 2 or 3 weeks from school and when he came back he had a cast on his right hand and he told me that he had broken his arm and after some days he went missing again but when I got the tragic news of his death I was left heartbroken . To this day I still have memories of us playing but I can't remember his name. Talking the truth I have his face and our memories fading away .

I miss my best friend. She's been in the army for over a year so far. She had to miss my whole pregnancy, but I miraculously gave birth during the 1 week of her Christmas leave, so she was able to be there for the birth but left the next day. My baby is 7 months now and still hasn't officially met her and she hasn't gotten to hold him 🥺 she's about to graduate her training and then she's being sent to Hawaii for 2 years, so I don't think I will see her again for a long time 💔 😔
