The same with me. When I read the Presidents letter to the people I was absolutely devastated and sad. As the day went on and President Biden backed Kamala Harris and then more and more came forward to support her, I began seeing the renewed excitement so i am feeling hopeful for our country.

I'm a 67 year old woman boomer and I've never loved a president as much as I love President Joe Biden. And I was around for the Kennedy Presidency. My heart just aches for him and I hope he knows how much WE THE PEOPLE appreciate all he's done for our country. I think he's been treated pretty shabby. I was also devastated when Joe dropped out. But then I remembered watching Kamala in the Carolinas last week and how proud I was of her in that moment , all the sudden I felt like a weight was lifted. She walked alongside Joe she has learned how to navigate the policies. She's young, intelligent, and tough. I feel all new energy and positive vibes!! I wish Pete could be her vice president but there are alot of good choices!! Go girl go!!!

Same here, didn't realize just how emotional I'd feel about him choosing not to run again 😐 He can spend more time with loved ones now and not stress out so much. I am really not too surprised that President Biden stepped down. There’s some part of me that I knew he would do that. I certainly wouldn’t have wished that but now that it has happened, I hope Kamala gets the nomination. President Biden has done a remarkable job and I am happy to say that I was alive during his Presidency.
