this was the weekend of launching 'for the birds' and the frames doing their tour of dublin and landing in probably the best place to see them live, vicar st. mic came on for one of the encores and sang this elvis classic with the frames that himself and glen busked at every opportunity.

There was such chemistry between these two. If i went back I could post all the points where that chemistry was displayed back and forth between Glen and Mic. It's a rapport that is so rarely found, but never more evident than here.

The sexiest cover of this song! Mic's great phrasing, expressions, fuse his body w the song. Suspension of disbelief, like when you're reading & so into the book. you forget it's a book. We miss U Mic!
if there's anything i wanna remember Mic by, it's that part from 1:51 - 2:17...just standing there, w/ a ciggy between his fingers, singing that line..."no, don't let the good things die..." pure sentimentalism even though i never got the chance to know the man

Poor audio quality, but to me this is the best version of 'suspicious minds, even better than Elvis'original one. Mike had a terrific voice. anytime i listen to this song i get goosebumps all over my body.
That is a strong close by Mic; he just walks off the stage after giving a great cover to such a wonderful song.
