      @@michaelhill2300 Statistically yes but he’s one of the best FIGHTERS in the world. He isn’t a Floyd Maywhether who’s running laps around the ring, he is willing to go to war each and every time.

    • @michaelhill2300
      @michaelhill2300 Рік тому

      @MCastle I always think there was two Floyds when I hear people say that, I mean I saw Ali, Leanord and even Naz run laps oh and let’s not forget RJJ, however Floyd used to move probably the last 10-30 seconds of maybe 2-3 rounds, he mainly controlled centre ring even when he was in there with bigger guys and most of the time got them on the ropes, even the times when he should of tan when he got hurt he planted himself at front of his opponent when most fighters would run ;-)

      I liked Naseem but Gatti would have bodied him. Prince was flashier, better at dodging punches and probably had better punch power. But you could have hit Gatti in the head with a mallett and he'd have come back at you. Marco Antonio Barrera schooled Nas. If you're gonna drop your hands and try to dance about the ring you'd better have a strong chin because you'll get caught. Nas' career completely fizzled out. Gatti and Barrera were still top draws for years after.

Again incredible accomplishment. He was an entertainer and always always bought excitement with his fights which is more than I can say about almost all of the boxers that have stepped into the ring in the last 20 years. Naz was mustard

      Samuel Brazil he lost his last fight in humiliating fashion, being exposed for not being a high level boxer, literally cried and ran out of the ring and stadium and never came back to fighting again......... just look at how Gatti came back after that absolute fkn nuclear world war 1 with ward, still went into more wars after his loss and became even better and kept fighting until the body started to give out and the losses started to accumulate... even then he only ever got dominated by PRIME dela Hoya and Mayweather AFTER he was at least five years past his prime...... comparing that to Berrera who exposed Naz straight away, I don't even think the weight difference itself gives Gatti the edge his technical boxing, precision, and on top of movement BALANCE most importantly we saw how Berrera just keeping balanced allowed his stiff shots to knock Prince out of orbit...... looking at the shots Gatti has given out on top of the ones he's taken I think even without the weight difference Gatti beats him 10/10 but that's just me....

With Naseem' s awkward fighting style, angle punching, and power, he would've taken out Gatti real fast. IMO, Gatti would've been another Augie Sanchez.

You raise some good points and I'll remember him for those things too but also for going over to the USA, telling champion Kevin Kelly he'd give him a job putting his posters up after he beat him, kept him waiting 10 minutes whilst he slowly dance to the ring and then beat him. Nice was wild, didn't even keep his hands up but boy was he a joy to watch compared to most of todays boxers.

    @jason60152 And he could out brawl you as well... he was a boxer and a brawler... oh and his foot work was spot on too....He just had a way of timing them and sliding away when he needed to and would lure you in and cut the ring off... he was phenomenal ;)

    Example Tommy Hearns was Taller than Tyson (probably faster too) and he started at lightweight, so do you think would have beaten Mike?

    Prince Naseem was the hardest puncher P4P in his time, even now.. He sparred against Heavyweights with no sparring gear whilst training for his big fights, and his sparring partners have all said he punches really hard.. remember this is Prince at 130.. Naseem vs Gatti would of been awesome, both had really good chins (Naz's knockdowns came from balance issues most of the time) and we all know Gatti can take real punishment. I would of favoured Naseem.

    @notsoslick7 so norton didnt have the skills to box
    someone like ali did along with speed and movement and the ability to get out the way
    there are only a handful of boxers that can do that this stage sort of like a willie pep style skill like mayweather has

    Me and millions of others thats the reason why Gatti could earn $millions despite having lost fights and not being a world champion. Promoters put him on shows because they knew that even if the main fight was dull he would give the fans something to remember.

    Prince could not hurt Barrera How is the Prince going to hurt a guy naturally 20 pound bigger.

    • @Muhammad_yasin_87
      @Muhammad_yasin_87 6 років тому +8

      Joseph Fuhrmaneck because he had to lose alot of weight for that fight, we all know if the fight vs barrera happened 1 or 2 years earlier, naz would have knocked him out

      @DB Cooper's MoneyBags it's true he had to drop a ton of weight...he probably would have won a rematch but his hands were through...Prince was a much stronger puncher and way faster...dude never lost by KO and has one of the highest KO% of anyone. That's especially impressive for a little guy.

      Have you seen Prince’s interview about the fight he did about 10 years after his retirement? I tend to believe why he didn’t do well in that fight but lot’s of people rag on the guy for having a single loss on his record and that to an undisputed legend by decision...

    • @unkonwn5390

      @DB Cooper's MoneyBags ibo wbo ibf wbc and lineal champion as well as that he should of had the wba but they stripped vasquaez before fighting hamed. Did I also mention he defended his belt 15 strait times as well as that did you know Barrera was KTFO by junior Jones- A prime undefeated Paul ingle was defeated by hamed in Manchester within 2 bouts Paul Ingle sensationally beat Junior Jones in the US by tko enough said. ALL these 'elite' fighters wanted no part of him in the mid to late 90s. Didnt barrera decline frank warrens multi million dollar offer to fight hamed after he beat tom jhonson??? and juan manuel marquez in 2000 so hamed was forced to fight Vuani Bangu?????

    Honestly guys we can't say who would have wrecked who. Often in sports, what should happen doesn't. What You think its a no brainer becomes a unexpected upset. Real vocab!

    Gatti vs nas would be like one of the klitchko's vs bernard hopkins, just no chance because of the weight difference.

  • @PLayAshEFF72

    When gatti mixed it with the pound for pound best, he couldn't hack it. Naseem hamed at 130 pounds would have spanked gatti back to Canada or wherever the fuck he came from.
    Gatti was entertaining, but he ate 5 shots to land one, and was a bar fighter.

      Who knows what that fight would have been like. It kind of reminds me of when Amir khan was favoured against Danny Garcia and Garcia crushed him to the ground. I think it would have been something like that

      Deluded. Gatti was a Brawler; Hamed was a masterful boxer with devastating power.
