Hotel Tresanton

At the tip of the untouched Roseland peninsula, in the picturesque village of St. Mawes, with stunning views across the sea, Hotel Tresanton is one of the English West Countries most famous hotels. Built originally in the 1940s as a yachtsman’s club, the hotel was bought and restored in 1997 by famous interior designer and hotelier, Olga Polizzi.

Mum lived at retirement village near here on Roseland Peninsula. We came to St Mawes for lunch until she had her stroke. Very special village for a girl from NE. RIP x

?? Gotta say, the eclectic interior decor reminds me A LOT of the the Artist Residence Hotels... something tells me when Alex's TV show 'The Hotel Inspector' saved the original Artist Residence for that clueless young guy, she must have become a silent partner, (financing, marketing and decorating the new Artist Residence Hotels... identical to her mothers casual interior design style.)
