For Anyone that didn’t get it: Jaden actually lost the nuzlock in the elite for due to crits.
She still wanted to finish it for the video though so she made a poll of whether she should try again and the chat voted yes.
The glitches are what happened the first time
So she decided to make it as an alternate universe like Giratina, smart.

That is some 1000 level IQ thinking by Jaiden to make it like Girarina (Edit 5: Yep. I just noticed I typed Girarina instead of Giratina😂) caused an alternate universe. I didn't for my life expect something like that happened! I was in shivers after that last scene...😨

Fun fact: That whole Giratina sequence playing into the ending was referring to the fact that Jaiden actually lost the Nuzlocke midway through the Elite 4 and had to retry it. The way she implemented it into the video was simply stunning.
@mega carrot Jaiden lost to really bad crit rng and when she got to flint all her remaining mons were fire weak, and due to that insanely bad luck her live chat voted to let her redo the elite four
@mega carrot basically she got screwed by really bad luck and she was allowed to retry but afterwards apparently she felt like she didn't deserve the win
The crits were out of hand in this Nuzlocke honestly :/ There were a lot of moments through Jaiden's Nuzlocke where she lost valuable team members just because of some bad luck
@@mynameisirrelevant7000 crit damage is something you should always factor in. It doesn’t become random if you account for it

@@turtleguy8704 It's amazing how good her story telling is for these Nuzlockes. I also felt some strange nostalgia. How quickly I was able to get attached to her Pokemon even though they weren't mine. Prime examples definetly include Chad and Blubby from Ruby and Oops from Platinum. I caught and used my own Quagsire named Oops inspired by Jaidens on my team when I replayed Sword. Carried me throughout the whole game. Never I mean never underestimate a Quagsire 👊🎉
The “I felt a horrible shiver when her Rhyperior came out” was a reference to when her team was killed by Bertha’s Rhyperior.

Those who didn’t see her stream: Jaiden lost to the Elite Four on her first attempt. Togekiss died to a Stone Edge crit from Aaron’s Heracross. Garchomp + Quagsire were unlucky against Bertha’s Rhyperior. The rest of her team was very weak to fire (Flint). So she gave up. Her loss was due to really bad luck. She created a poll asking her viewers if she could retry the Elite Four. 70% of the viewers said yes. So she tried it again and she won, but she felt it was a really hollow "victory". “Alternate Timeline Jaiden” and the spooky bits you see represents her first lost attempt..

I’d like to clarify this, Jaiden lost on the Elite Four on her first attempt. Colgate died to Aaron, explaining the distorted visions, and Oops and Flakes died to Bertha’s Ryperior, which once again we saw Ryperior holding their corpses in the distorted vision. From there Jaiden knew she couldn’t beat the rest and gave up. However the chat let her try again and she agreed but she wouldn’t count it as a win and the following is the Elite Four in the video. So when Jaiden gets torn into two by Giritina in the distortion world the copy of Jaiden that fell is the one that lost the Nuzlocke.

She didn't give up immediately, she held the vote, but still attempted to fight Flint, even though she had no chance, by the time the fight was over, the poll results said to give her another chance, because she was making a video, and her birthday was in the following week, so they wanted to give her a shot at a happy ending. But, guilt is a powerful thing, and inspired that amazing story-beat in the video.

The way she wrote her failed first attempt into the script as a distortion world event is just brilliant beyond brilliant. Chat voted for her to have a do over since it was her Birthday and I expected the animation to turn out good but this was even better than expected

The funniest thing about Jaiden failing the Gible encounter is that she specifically caught all of the other pokemon that live in that cave before she went there so she could use the dupes clause to catch it.

She knew a crit would kill it. She should've weaken it with other Pokemon and not her starter.
Doesn‘t gible already know dragon rage at this level? If it wouldn’t have died immediately, it would have killed at least 1 pokemon of her team
@@TyphoonBlizzard tbh I was there live and didnt think bite would kill, even on a crit. Maybe it was a high roll or something
@@reur3965 it does get dragon rage, but if the onix was on the team its a great option because of its low attack and high hp, to weaken a gible and live one or two dragon rages. It's all going to be luck based because of rolls and the chance that the A.I will choose dragon rage, but she doesn't seem to unwilling to sacrifice other Pokémon up until this point so the ohko seems pretty avoidable in retrospect tbh.
I love how there's a comment that says "Name the Raboot Zuko" when ADrive pulled up the comments asking for him to react to Jaiden's video.

Idk if he knows the context for the ending. Spoilers btw so when she was streaming she went into the elite 4 under leveled and lost the nezlock and her chat wanted her to try again and she wins so the jaiden that falls off the platform in the distortion world was her first attempt were she lost and the flashes of her pokemon dead is what happened the first time so she treated it like a split reality and I really like how she did that. So I dont think she counts it as a win but yea there's the context.

Jaiden actually wasn't really "underleveled" (most of her mons were 59, start of the elite 4 is like 51 ish and the end gets up to like 62), she just got rekt on crit rng while not accounting for them, but to be fair she probably could've also just set up garchomp with X items and sweep all of the E4 and Cynthia with items.
She lost Togekiss to Heracross, she lost Quagsire and Garchomp to Bertha, and her leftover pokemon weren't good against Flint so the chat let her reset
@@Toches I mean, considering the events, how are you supposed to work around crits that kill the Pokémon outright? Switching doesn't work, that just means someone else dies. Healing wouldn't work because they die in one shot. Even if it doesn't kill the switched in Pokémon, now they have to be healed and then it still doesn't matter. Now any move could kill him after they taken damage. And X items don't work because crits ignore those stat boosts. If the game decides to crit a Pokémon in order to kill it, there isn't anything that can be done unless a Pokémon is immune to the attack. Electric immunity is worthless in the Elite Four and Ground immunity on one Pokémon who can't damage the primary users of Ground type moves back.
@@justinalicea1590 Im not necessarily saying Jaiden was at fault, but i am saying that if dying to crit is the only thing that can ruin the run, precautions CAN be made to prevent it (leveling further, choosing different mon's cuz she had like 25 in the box and had chancey, which can survive like EVERYTHING, setting up X defend/ sp. defends), options CAN be taken to prevent death to the 5% crit chance

It does for me especially. My sister brought over her nervous wreck of a Dog to my house for the weekend. Apparently the stress was too strong and he started to vomit till he started vomiting blood. They took him back to their house while my sister stayed with me. He died yesterday. I felt so guilty because he died from the stress of being at my place. He was only 2 years old

@@archerwolf824 No not really, lots of folks use a program called "Universal Pokemon Randomizer" and that has an option to change trade only evolutions to Evolve at 'x' level when holding the item you normally need to trade them with.
Lots of folks use this option since those Evos are basically locked out otherwise on the older games.
@@wr3kandrewwillis635 You do a Nuzlocke to challenge yourself, nothing is illegal because you choose the rules. As long as you stand by your own rules, it's ok. So there is no cheating there.
@@wr3kandrewwillis635 a lot of people which do nuzlocke also use the option of evolve trade mons at x level this is a common thing, plus cheating or not she still lost on her first try in elite four this why there is all of those glitches in the story, those glitches is showing what happened to her before she resetted after losing to elite four.

Yeah, I listened to her first pokemon nuzlocke something like seven times because each poketuber who watched it was another occasion to see this great video.
Ok, for the people confused about the two Jaidens, the creepy and disturbing scenes and the "I didnt deserve this" mentality: Jaiden actually lost this Nuzlocke.
What happened was, in the first Elite 4 battle against Aaron, his Heracross hit Colgate the Togekiss with Stone Edge, and it was a critical hit, so Togekiss died. In the next fight, Bertha's Rhyperior got a critical hit Earthquake on Oops the Quagsire, and hit Flakes the Garchomp with an Avalanche, killing them both.
At that point, considering she only had half her team left, all her pokemon were weak to Fire, and the next Elite 4 member was all Fire types, Jaiden felt she had already lost, and did a poll, asking stream viewers if they would rather just have this be the video, or if she should reset to before the Elite 4 and get a second chance. 70% of viewers agreed with letting her reset and try again.
She then predictably lost to Flint, tried again, and managed to win this time.
So basically, she actually lost to the Elite Four, but the viewers decided to let her bypass the Nuzlocke rules and give her a second chance at the Elite 4 and Champion. Which is why she says she didnt really deserve this win at all, and yeah, technically she lost.
I also heard the fans let that happen cause it was near jaiden’s birthday but idk if that’s true
She only restart once. She didn't lose to flint since she didnt fight him the first time and won the second time since she had her whole team.

The lesson of this nuzlocke: " Too many crits can spoil the run."
It’s something that you can plan for, but that many was too unlucky, and a nuzlocke is self-imposed rules. So if she wanted to add a clause that says “losing to the elite 4 because of stupid crits allows me to try again” it still is a legitimate nuzlocke

Hey Adrive, just wanted to explain the parallel universes with Giritina:
Jaiden actually wiped out in the elite four, but chat let her redo the elite four and she completed it the second time. The reason for the flashbacks is that she said that she would do something special for the animation.
The reason for the dark flashbacks is that those were the realities for the first attempt. Togekiss was killed against the first trainer and Bertha rhyperior killed oops and flakes. She then forfeited before flint because she was going into him with three pokemon weak to fire.

they let her reset because it was her birthday and the bs crits, and that could be considered "cheating" since traditionally you restart, but end game is the animation and she still counts it as a loss.

For those wondering about the "Alternate Tiimeline", Jaiden actually failed during the E4 in the first go. Because it was her birthday stream, she decided to go at it again and won.
Interestingly, a situation similar to Dwayne happened in the Nuzlocke I'm playing at the moment, Ultra Moon. I caught a Noibat in Verdant Cavern (which is a bit of an annoying encounter since Noibat takes practically forever to evolve), but then going up against Hau's Eevee, it lived a Quick Attack with 1HP on the last turn it was locked into Uproar. Jiro the Noibat had been on my team ever since, as is doing me proud up to this day.

If I remember correctly, it was a combination of her Garchomp having speed ev training AND a beneficial nature.
Fun Fact: Jaiden forced the Gible encounter. In previous routes she caught every Pokémon that would spawn in Wayword Cave, therefor the only Pokémon that she can catch is Gible.
Luck was on her side for that

For those who didn't understand the ending, she lost the first time doing the elite four on stream, but just did it again.
Hey adrive, just letting you know that the reason that in the distortion world, she was in two and that in the elite 4 she kept having flashbacks is bescause at the end of the elite 4, her team got swept, so her twitch chat continued breaking one of the official rules. Just an FYI jaiden did some livestreams on twitch for this vid. When giratina ripped her into two, and when she was talking about the alternative universe she was talking about when she lost the elite four the first time. Then we did a pole of if she can redo the elite four. Most of us said yes so this is why you saw glimpses of her dead Pokémon.
Bro I like how she was able to restart because she doesn't tell you she lost but it's so cool that she turns it into a story
Glad to see someone support a Sinnoh starter that isn't Chimchar! (I swear, everybody LOVES Infernape). I would personally go with Piplup, cause water is my favorite type. I also used Piplup in both Pearl and Platinum and it was pretty solid, especially once it became Empoleon. I haven't used Turtwig before recently, when I made it my starter in Shining Pearl (having chosen Piplup in Brilliant Diamond). So far it's done well. I nicknamed it Fangorn after the forest in LOTR. Hilariously it was the only Pokémon I could walk with in Amity Square, and it walked SO slow. Like, I get that it's a turtle, but it was still pretty funny.

@10:38 actually she did have a dupes clause which was why she was able to get her Gibbon because she encountered the other possible mons in other areas. Also she named her Whooper OOPS because when she caught it, she misclicked. She didn't mean to throw the pokeball lol

I think the story of the alternate timeline is that jaidens luck with the elite 4 was terrible and she reset the game to redo the elite 4 and she feels as if without resetting she wouldn't have won.
Yeah, she lost half her team to Aaron (She lost Colgate to a crit stone edge) and Bertha (She lost Oops and Flakes to crit earthquake and avalanche) the rest of her team was weak to fire so she made a poll that asked if she should restart the elite 4 fight and majority said yes, so she did.
