Simon Williams and you were addicted to drugs u know how it feels and for your information he introduced her too drugs so of corse she would be at the highest point of her addiction when she was with the person who introduced her to drugs dumbass and he said himself she got worse when he left her so stfu and I know those songs her hurt because if u just watch that video u could see it all in her face what singing that song was doing to her and her manager said she would drinking heavily when it was time for her to go on tour and perform so obviously they hurt her to sing them so instead of trying to prove your point about your drugs and addiction you should know your facts about her and her music because I have watched some much stuff on her I could write a book and if u watch that video u would see when she said " your smile was so inviting and he kissed my check with his finger tips " the look on her face showed how much pain she was in so stop trying to make everything about you and see that this women's problem was him so before u go off and try to make something about yourself you should see another person's cry for help which she just showed for u in that video
Simon Williams well u should have said that frist and u don't have to feel bad for me I know what my problem is and a drunk man tells no lies have u ever heard that it quite true so how I feel right now and what I'm saying is exactly how I would feel and respond if I was sober but I'm done arguing with you because what caused her addiction was him he started her too it so he was her down fall it wasn't what she did to herself it was what he did too her literally because I called my closet fried and he said the same thing I'm saying and other people are saying it read the comments own down on this video your the only one and the other assholes saying it was all her fault but whatever I'm "drunk" or whatever but I know I'm right and your not so I'm done
What a strange equation: her suffering equal and opposite the sheer joy in her audience. This performance simply lives, the ultimate gift she could have left us. RIP dear soul.
I feel so bad and sad watching the performances from when she was sick. She had such confused look in her eyes, and totally looking like she was asking for help. And you can hear the pain in her voice, and even shes tired, she sounds so briliant. Amazing pure talent, and sadly taken away too soon 😞 Its deeply sad that such beautiful and talented soul had gone through all of that dark stuff, completly alone.

Despite being on drugs here, this was one seriously powerful performance. She sung with such intensity, unique genius style playing with her songs even when high as a kite. Amazing
Ok yeah this is extremely hard to watch because you can tell she isn't really there, but this performance is really captivating. I don't know why, but the way she sang in this performance seemed so mesmerizing.

+Jonathan K. Shes one of a million singers that come along every decade or two. A real talented singer with raw emotions performing with her soul and giving a piece of her universe every time she sings to tell her mini stories.Basicly shared her entire life with the public and gave eveything she had at her own expense. She didnt give a shit about money. No fancy house,car,jewelery,clothes...None of that.Making a million per show, she was quite able to afford it.Singing was her medication and release.Otherwise she was haunted by many demons. She loved to sing and loved to perform on stage. But not for fame. She loved the energy she got from being loved. She longed for love.So much that she would invite anyone into her bed at the end of the day.She was quite lonely and scumbag Blake used her poisoned her married her for drug money and supported his family with amys money WITH the long term plan being to get a nice payoff from the divorce. When he said "I dont know what I was doing with her,Im a good lookin guy I got nice clothes,i dunno what I was thinking.... I felt like punching his frog mouth right thru the screen !!
+Danny Dell Very well observed. That's exactly what she wanted, just the love her father denied her by walking out the door when she was so very young and adored him so much. What's that going to do to anyone? May she rest in peace. Brilliant musician and poet.
you can see how the drugs had worn her down, made her mannerisms more jolted, her voice less symphonic, and overall she was malnourished (physically, mentally, emotionally, etc.). RIP amy, much love.
completely torn apart. if only she'd have stayed at the frank era with that writing back to black destroyed her everytime she performed those songs a piece of her was lost untill there was nomore. may she have found peace and the love she craved were she is now there'll never be another R.I.P Princess
Another expert pfff go fuck your self we don’t need your “what she should sound like” analogies. This is raw, emotional and most artists who are this deep down could never pull off this type of performance.
If she was completely anti drugs in 2004 then dead less than a decade later, that ain't enough time to destroy yourself with drugs in a gradual decline sense. Alcohol or some prescription drugs maybe, but not drugs. I hear pain and soul.
This was v2008 and I was in the crowd. I felt her pain and she was mourning very publicly at Blake being emprisoned at the weeks leading up to this performance. I’d seen her at the Isle of Wight festival the year before so it was a shock to see her obvious health decline at this show. She was grieving and some of the crowd were being mean to her. I will never forget this moment and the overwhelming urge to go and hug her ❤️🌹 Still love and miss her to this day. What a unique and rare gem she was 🦋
Just touching comment! Thank You for the empathy and such high level of sensitivity, touching. That proves that She has brought more light to this world with her talent.

nope, idk why no one can't see it but she was high as f++ at this performance and this is the sad thing about it. her manager /family / band shouldn't let her perform like this but money is always more important...
I love how she added lyrics from walking in the sand by The Shangri-Las. So brilliant. Fun fact she actually drew inspiration from that song to create back to black. One of the greatest artists of all time.

By judging the way she looked in this performance, I can tell that it was one of her last live performance before her unfortunate death. You can clearly see that she's not okay. She can't even pronounce some of the words and looks like she was going to pass out any minute. She has/had a huge number of fans, but couldn't someone just helped her? She obviously needed the help, it breaks my heart watching her like this. RIP Amy🙏🏼

I would reccomend reading Mitch's book about Amy... Mitch described every point of her life (He may or may have not pushed himself as better guy rhan he actually is idk)
+7614 Winehouse Well I think everyone can agree that this particular song taps into quite allot that was "Wrong" . Everything about how it comes out of her tells anyone listening that yes , Something was wrong. Her heart got broken. There is some justice in the fact that this amazing Anthem will haunt a certain someone for the rest of his days on this planet. Yes thats kinda been done before by different artists (Stevie Nicks comes to mind) but once you have some idea of what was going on in her life at the time this Song and how it pours out of her is absolutely haunting.
+JodieeHart That's actually not true. You just made that up. She was not nervous in front of large crowds, and has specifically said that in interviews. She was in a very bad way on the stage above, and it is distressing to watch. And yet the performance is all the more powerful for that.
+JodieeHart she wasn't on drugs during this perform and she was going through withdrawl and they still made her go up even tho she had stage fright and bad anxiety
This performance is superb, not only for the amazing vocals but for the way she reflects so much pain and dispair. It is hauntingly beautiful. She was one of the greatest and she will live forever through her music
I don't know how many live versions she made of this song and I Like Them all. She was unique and this song conveys 100 % all the suffering she was going through in her life. Miss her so much
It’s like she’s a revived corpse that’s simultaneously regenerating back into human form while also decaying towards death yet again. Back to black. She’s dead and alive, tragically stuck between two states of existence, unsure which one she prefers more. Hauntingly beautiful.
@@AhhChama I’m not romanticizing her suffering. I’m acknowledging that she was both a brilliant artist and deeply troubled, as many great artists are. Her art evoked pain and heartbreak, and her performances visually reflected those emotions.
Weather she was high or in withdrawal here is irrelevant. Infact, if she was(she most likely is), then it is a even bigger testament the passion and soul she put in her music. Even here in obvious withdrawal she sounds amazing.. that voice my god. I don't think i will ever get over her death.. so young ..such passion.. so unique.. such an angel. The only thing about her music that is even more important then her voice, is the soul she put into it. All the devils she had to fight with all her life. I really hope you are at peace now Amy. But those of us left behind will mourn for years to come, if not our entire lives. As im writing this my eyes are getting watery again..
I highly doubt she was in withdrawal here, she seems definitely loaded. With alcohol and opiate addiction withdrawals, the sufferer in the deep throes would be uncontrollably sweating bullets, extreme vomiting and diarrhea (you're welcome) ;). And with the amount of alcohol her family said she consumed, she would almost definitely have seizures and confusion while withdrawing, which wouldn't have allowed her to play more than likely, she probably couldn't even remember her lyrics in that state. Anyway, she was amazing and I feel like the world lost an absolute legend. Every time I listen to her songs, I feel so sad thinking about what amazing songs she could have written in the future. Songs we could be listening to right now. This is heartbreaking to watch though. I hope her soul is at peace and she feels no more pain.
I can't help crying. She looks so helpless, desperate. It makes me wanna hug her, tell her it's all right, the pain will fade, Amy. Let time heal your heart, dear.
Remember walking in the sand The night, night was so exciting And your smile, your smile was so inviting Then, then he kissed my tears with his fingertips And softly, we meet with our lips I, I go back to... RIP Amy Winehouse

😪
I feel so bad and sad watching the performances from when she was sick. She had such confused look in her eyes, and totally looking like she was asking for help. And you can hear the pain in her voice, and even shes tired, she sounds so briliant. Amazing pure talent, and sadly taken away too soon 😞
Its deeply sad that such beautiful and talented soul had gone through all of that dark stuff, completly alone.
Shakespeare couldn't have written this woman's life in a more tragic way.

I love that she incorporated Lyrics from Shangri-Las Song "Remember (Walking in the Sand)" She actually drew inspiration from that song when creating this masterpiece. Back to Black is an incredible work of art.
Despite being on drugs here, this was one seriously powerful performance. She sung with such intensity, unique genius style playing with her songs even when high as a kite. Amazing

it’s so heartbreaking, goosebumps
Эми супер! Это шедевр на все времена! Покойся с миром... ❤❤❤
I love Amy Winehouse. I wish I had seen her concert.
Ok yeah this is extremely hard to watch because you can tell she isn't really there, but this performance is really captivating. I don't know why, but the way she sang in this performance seemed so mesmerizing.
she looks so lost and sad but as u said it was captivating
This is actually my favorite interpretation of her singing the song, like the changeups/improv...she is floundering, but she's really into it.
There's an old saying from the jazz days "no dope, no soul"
Just close your eyes and listen, she's amazing
I know right. The sound is so raw and pure
Why close my eyes, I love her as she is and I fuck who oppose her, she is in paradise
I agree. ...
Laura Cacciottoli Totally agree with u!!!!!
she's trembling, I think too many people closed their eyes and totally missed that.
Rip Amy you was very specially the one singer I heard ever
Still one of the bests in 2023 for sure❤️
poor woman... she was amazing. i love you amy. rest in pace.
I hate to see her like that but you can feel her soul in this performance.

unmatched timing. a singer an artist in the moment. the way she plays with the timing constently throughtout the whole song, unreal.
I don't believe in heaven but I hope there is one for Amy. She was too perfect for this cruel world. RIP angel. 😢💘
The Queen :(
yes Jonathan K.
I felt like punching his frog mouth right thru the screen !!
true...
+Danny Dell
Very well observed.
RIP amy, much love.
completely torn apart.
if only she'd have stayed at the frank era with that writing
back to black destroyed her
everytime she performed those songs a piece of her was lost untill there was nomore.
may she have found peace and the love she craved were she is now
there'll never be another
R.I.P Princess
Another expert pfff go fuck your self we don’t need your “what she should sound like” analogies. This is raw, emotional and most artists who are this deep down could never pull off this type of performance.
If she was completely anti drugs in 2004 then dead less than a decade later, that ain't enough time to destroy yourself with drugs in a gradual decline sense. Alcohol or some prescription drugs maybe, but not drugs.
I hear pain and soul.
Do your homework! The shitheads erount her are the people that get her on the podium👍 thay can help her for not doing it🙏
Кто- то написал, что Эми подарок, который у нас отняли. Люблю. Покойся с миром, малышка.
Superbe !! ........Mais quelle tristesse qu'elle ne soit plus de ce monde !!
I will never forget this moment and the overwhelming urge to go and hug her ❤️🌹
Still love and miss her to this day. What a unique and rare gem she was 🦋
Omggg your so lucky
No sé inglés....pero se que Amy hermosa

2:36 that's the most emotional, artistic and finest adlibs I have ever heard. This is why I love Amy sm, she offers sm, performance of her is not the same. Amy's talent is one in a million.
❤❤❤❤❤❤
I loved that part too
yes I love this part too
Not really adlibs, in that part she starts singing ‘walking in the sand’ by The Shanghai-Las.
For the pass few weeks I will randomly come on here just to watch this video . The emotion in this
She has to be one of the most underrated singers out there.
wtf you mean "underrated" she conquered when she was alive.
Every idiot who doesn't understand throws out the underrated line. You talk bollocks.
How could anyone possibly cheer this, when she's coming apart before their eyes?
You need to be sick to cheer this. But some people are also coming apart and can feel what Amy was singing.
1st time listening to this live performance. Oh god! So powerful, so intense, so sad at the same time. Thanks for the gift to this world, Amy. Yet, I wish someone was there for you.. You were like a little girl lost and abused, and people let you drfit away.
she was singing in pain and heart broken. i love you, RIP
nope, idk why no one can't see it but she was high as f++ at this performance and this is the sad thing about it. her manager /family / band shouldn't let her perform like this but money is always more important...
I feel the same way, well said !!! RIP AMY
The best singer
Wowowow poor girl she was ..no words, blank, perfect except for SORRY GIRL I hope you are still singing in the heavens in bliss
10 years ago! Who is still listening in 2018?
Yep....she is the queen also in the netherlands!❤

I love how she added lyrics from walking in the sand by The Shangri-Las. So brilliant. Fun fact she actually drew inspiration from that song to create back to black. One of the greatest artists of all time.
She was very beautiful ❤️🙏
Remember walking in the sand.

And your smile, your smile is so inviting.

Al CHS Thanksss
Amazing voice but still one of the saddest performances i've seen, the pain is so obvious
All that emotion when she is singing.. legend.
She was a very good artist love her music 🎶 rest in peace Amy 🙏
She’s tweaking out in front of thousands of people and no one does anything to help.. so sad. She clearly wasn’t okay. 💔
Zoe Gatlin it’s not like the people could just jump on the stage, i m sure they wanted to help. She obviously desperately needed it but i don t think there was anything anyone could ve done by that point
@@ana-teodoraanghel3423 her TEAM could but they wanted money instead.
I think people really underestimate how strong Amy was with her opinions. Amy did what Amy wanted, said by herself and almost everyone who knew her.
:(
It could be part of the performence.. no one forced her to perform
It seems as though this song was incredibly hard for Amy to perform in nearly every live performance I have seen. Damn love can really F you up. Miss her
So can H .
Её любовь прекрасна и несчастна. Как жаль

The world isn’t the same without her. But those backup singers stole the show - who are they?!?❤
Broke my heart seeing her like this.
Her only sin was loving too much.
RIP Amy🙏🏼
No, this was in 2008, Amy died in 2011... 2008 was Amy's hardest year, the year she left the drugs...
JodieeHart I don't think movie showed evertything about Amy, a lot of stuff is missing, some factual misstakes were made... But movie was touching...
+JodieeHart
That's actually not true.
So sad that I never found Amy Winehouse after she had left us. Such a great talent. May she always be at peace.
This performance is superb, not only for the amazing vocals but for the way she reflects so much pain and dispair. It is hauntingly beautiful. She was one of the greatest and she will live forever through her music
At 1:35 the way she says “Baby I loved you much” you can hear the pain In her voice 😢
I don't know how many live versions she made of this song and I Like Them all. She was unique and this song conveys 100 % all the suffering she was going through in her life. Miss her so much
What a seriously talented artist.
And that voice.
even being under influence of drugs she was able to hit every note
so much true
And even the phrasing is so creative. Musicality of her is no joke. Its something that a lot of singers/artist lack nowadays.
yeah, she even made a twist on the lyrics, it's incredible how she could give such an amazing performance while under influence.
Iconic talent. In my opinion of the best talents of our generation.
Her little dance is everything
dance? For me she is squirming
Oh boy…such a beautiful soulful singer we’ve lost. Not only was she a phenomenal singer, but an amazing musician and song writer too. RIP
Fuck this is heart breaking. You see the suffering all in her.
She gave a great performance despite what you see in her eyes. This woman was a gift un-given.
It’s like she’s a revived corpse that’s simultaneously regenerating back into human form while also decaying towards death yet again. Back to black. She’s dead and alive, tragically stuck between two states of existence, unsure which one she prefers more. Hauntingly beautiful.
Let's please not romanticise her suffering and addiction
@@AhhChama I’m not romanticizing her suffering. I’m acknowledging that she was both a brilliant artist and deeply troubled, as many great artists are. Her art evoked pain and heartbreak, and her performances visually reflected those emotions.
Бесподобная певица!!! Я,сказала бы лучшая ! Умничка! Столько лет прошло,а я ей восхищаюсь.
She became music
Omg the saddness in her eyes touched my soul she was still laughing tho for people for her fans she tried her best when she wasnt in the best position
Say for the money
wow i can see the pain in her eyes !! :(
Weather she was high or in withdrawal here is irrelevant.
Vipala, beautifully said
