The National Executive Committee of the African National Congress is meeting this weekend in Boksburg to chart a way forward after its January 8 statement and birthday celebration.
One of the issues likely to top the agenda is further discussions on whether the KwaZulu-Natal and Gauteng Provincial Executive Committees should be disbanded after the provinces' poor performance at the polls last year. The party's secretary general Fikile Mbalula briefed the media earlier.
