What a beautiful image! I hadn't heard that Jody was retiring. I've been collecting her artwork for a while (puzzles, cards, etc). I love that the image is so clear, even at 40x60. Take care, Lisette ❤
Thank you so much for the link. I loved this. I hadn't seen it before and when I clicked on the link, it says "only a few left." So I grabbed one. I was in the process of purchasing a kit from the new releases of DAC yesterday right at the time it went online and I was able to put it in my shopping cart, but by the time I went to click the pay now button, it was sold out. I'm super disappointed with that, but very happy to have been able to get this print from Dreamer's. Also, I purchased another Dreamer's kit from them about a week ago and it arrived and I was so impressed with the packaging. The soft tool kit. Everything in it. Thank you for showing me what that clear plastic bar thing was because I was really scratching my head on that. What you call "gapping" is nothing to me. I'm near complete on a Diamond Dotz print (the Parthenon which is soooooooo beautiful) and it's gapping is very troubling to me, but I'm inexperienced at this hobby. I've only completed one small Amazon print so far and it's gapping too. But, the gapping does not show from a distance. Thanks again. I love your videos and your journaling system is intriguing too.
Hi Lisette! It is very clear and love the colors. The gapping is annoying but from afar you can’t notice it which is a good thing. Wow! It looks beautiful! Great video🥰🥰
My husband just got back from visiting his sister in Rotterdam. I have this picture in my stash as it reminds me of my sister-in-law! I love listening to your voice, as it reminds me of her, as well! Thank you so much for this video.
Oh, this is lovely Lisette! I'm glad you said it wasn't really your taste because that was my first thought, lol! It is lovely regardless! I love this kind of video. I'm guessing it fulfills my need for instant gratification!!!! You do beautiful work Lisette! Thank you for sharing with us!
I have at least 6 dreamer design canvases in my stash (mostly Alissa Kari) - and mostly squares. I’ve had zero issues with them. They are all gorgeous 🦢 🌷
Hi Alina - the gapping really isn't bad at all. I just mention it because I see a lot of people speaking negatively about the squares of DD. My personal experience is very positive. I've just placed another order with them.
Very pretty. I have bought a lot of Dreamer Designs lately as they have improved their diamonds and expanded their artists. I think my last 5-10 paintings have been from them. I’m glad to see you do a review. I will say that I have switched from a 7 placer to a 4 placer on these as it helps reduce the gapping.
Love the picture and the format from start to finish. It just so happens I will be starting the 2 swans from Jaded so this inspires me and hopefully the Jaded one is as enjoyable and beautiful as the Dreamer Designs. Thank you.
Oh that's so nice. Thanks for letting me know Jean. Enjoy working on your beautiful piece from JGS. I'm working on my first JGS myself and am loving it.
Thanks for doing a Dreamer Designs review, I think they are a much better company than most people give them credit for. My stash is an even mix of Diamond Art Club and Dreamers. I agree with you that the quality of DAC is better but Dreamers quality is still quite good. I love that most of Dreamers' canvases come is consitent sizes like 60x80cm or 40x50cm that are easy to find frames for, and they contract with some incredible artists like Alissa Kari. Overall Dreamers' images trend more toward cute/pretty, landcapes, flowers, etc which is what I'm more drawn to. Meanwhile DAC canvas sizes seem completely random which can be difficult and expensive to frame. DAC does come out with some gorgeous kits - a few that come to mind are Trinity of Peace and the recently released Beauty in the Clouds. However much of DAC's artwork is really dark or just plain tacky like all of the cartoons and the cringey Teletubbies.
Very lovely! I just got my first Dreamer Designs from a destash (Jody Bergsma star light, star bright). Glad to hear you had an overall enjoyable experience! I did not know that we might not continue to have access to this artist's diamond paintings 😮
It's SO beautiful! I haven't seen this one before, but if I do I'll likely get one. I have not yet tried Dreamer Designs but I have 2 of them at home ready to try soon: Blissgazing and Heading Home, both of which I find beautiful too
This picture is so serene! Jody Bergsma is not my usual choice of art, but this piece is really beautiful. I quite enjoy Dreamer Designs' canvases. I always wonder if the drills are the problem, or if it is their grid that needs to be a slight bit tighter. I've never had extreme gapping with their canvasses, but I would like a slightly tighter grid.
I like it! It looks like a nice reprieve from heavy confetti you tend to work on. Can I ask how long it took you? I do not drill very fast. It takes me about 6-8 weeks to work up a 60*80 cm. I am still working on my stash, trying to organize it. I’m hunting for the binder and pages you used. I think I have 18 including WIPs. I do have several “bargain” ones to do too. I don’t count those in my stash. They’re what my friends and family have gotten for me. I do love them though. 😊 Thank You for the complete reveal, an honest review is a nice refreshing thing to see. Have a great day!
Thanks so much. Sorry for getting back to your comments so late. I don't exactly know how long I work on a specific diamond painting. I don't time it and I alternate between different canvases. I do think that if I had dedicated all my time to this specific canvas I would have been able to finish it in a week or two. That is because of the perfect diamond painter friendly rendering of this one. A 60-80 takes me about 6-8 weeks too. So you're fast enough in my book LOL.
I was just wondering how square drills kits from Dreamer Designs compare to DACs, thanks so much for your honest opinion. I love the render of one of their images so I might still give it a try :)
It’s beautiful Lisette. I recently ordered two DD in squares because I heard the quality had improved. Then someone said they wouldn’t get the square drills. I wonder if it’s because of the gapping. Now I’m worried. 😧
Don't be worried. I just mention it because I've noticed that a lot of people talk quite negative about Dreamer Designs. I point out the issues, but they personally don't bother me at all. I really like Dreamer Designs and yes, also the squares. I've just placed another order with them. Which one did you order?
@@LisetteCraftsandTells Pink Owl in squares and Christmas Mailbox in squares. Years ago in my cross stitching days, I had the pattern for Christmas Mailbox, but I didn't get it done before my eyes could no longer cross stitch. Then, I saw it on DD in diamond painting form so I had to have it. It's a Christmas image and the mailbox has the number 27 on it. My birthday is December 27 which drew me to it. I will add some bling for sure.
Coucou.
I agree with you, Lisette. The drills are like older DAC kits. Not great but still okay. The rendering of the image makes it worth it.
💖💠💖
Hi Sylvia - yes, that's it.
I enjoy Dreamer Designs so much.
Yes I think they're really doing an awesome job. I'm always excited when you show another DD.

I love that the image is so clear, even at 40x60.

Yes, I heard it from Mindy first and looked it up. I think there will be images up from her for a while longer though.
Such a lovely, calm image. This is a great way to show the entire project. I really appreciate it. ❤
Thanks so much for letting me know. I'm glad to hear that you like this new format.
Oh what a beautiful smaller canvas ❤. Perfect for spring 🌸.

How do you feel about working on Dreamer Designs squares Sylvia? I really don't mind the gapping personally.
@@LisetteCraftsandTells I worked on Pretty in Pastel and it was a square. It had some gapping but I put very little mica powder and it worked. 🌸🌸

It came out beautiful 🦢

I really really love this canvas, the gapping i can fix. Once again lissette, the enabler, comes thru.

Another beautiful one I havent considered! 😊

wow 60 colors for a 40x60! I would love to see the tulip fields. I bet it is beautiful . nice painting. it isn't your usual style but it is lovely.

yes I did thank you! And thangs for the heads up. 😊❤
