In USA people frequently change their Apartment, do they need to update address in all documents ?
Because in India when we change an Apartment we are required to update address in all documents.
Usually you update in Usps(American postal service) and that takes care of most of stuff

Technically speaking you update the USPS first so that you can get all your mail to the new address and then you can update the individual companies such as your credit card or bank account etc. If you are asking for like Passport, that would be a no, that will only be updated at time of renewal.
