Let’s make one thing clear if doesn’t matter what your political views are Republican or Democrat, extreme right wing religious bigots should not be dictating women’s health rights or putting pregnant mothers at risk of death
Facts.
It’s not a woman’s right. It’s a baby
There should be a ban on ANY laws about abortion. It's a private medical issue -- leave medical issues to patients and doctors.
It needs to be protected by HIPPA. Going along with that, teachers should be legally trained and recognized as counselors to protect what a child confides in them about by HIPPA as well. If a child trusts the person that gives them homework more than their parents, there's probably a reason why.
There should be a ban on ANY laws about slavery. It's a private economic issue -- leave economic issues to families and financial advisers.

It's definitely interesting that in no other context is a human forced to keep another living breathing human alive. A parent could be the only donor for their child in the entire world and no US court would force that parent to keep that child alive. Same with drunk drivers... no court would force them to keep their victim alive. How does a nonliving non breathing fetus have more rights than living breathing people... astounding

We can’t lose! Thank you! If they really cared about life it would start with the mother and it would continue with prenatal care and on through life. I don’t see anyone offering to help support the rapist’s child. They denigrate the mother for being on welfare or assistance and punish her for her choices but no one talks about the male’s responsibilities or penalties. It takes two, folks! We have proof now that their “exceptions” are meaningless. That privileged men can make medical decisions threatening lives is preposterous!

I wonder how many women being polled about 2024 are saying "Yea, I'll vote trump" when their husband or boyfriend is stood there, but when they're in the privacy of a ballot box will vote 'For abortion' and also, maybe, 'for Dems' as the pro-choice party.

Contact your local office of the Democratic party - there should be one in every county. They should also have ballot petitions for cleaner water.

If I was in Florida I’d sign and help.
I hope all states add a woman's right to abortion to their constitution, but this move by FL petitioners is fatally flawed. The wording is too vague. The words "viability" and "patient's health" and even "patient's health care provider" leaves more questions than definitive answers. An amendment to a state's constitution should be rock solid. They need to stop, rewrite it, and try again. Something simple like "A woman has the right to make the decisions regarding continuing her pregnancy" is way better.
Assign one of those yesterday.
