    I completed more than 120 CE Credits for the renewal of my CCIE. But unfortunately CCIE has not be renewed all I Can see that 40 credits has been deducted for my specialist certifications. When I login to the CCIE portal it is asking me to complete further 40 Credits for the CCIE Recertification.
    I have open the support case, who the heck on earth wants to recertify the Specialist certification via Credits. Hope to get an answer soon. Can someone please explain is this how it works.

    Do you have a link for list of CE credits to be earned on attending each CiscoLive session and continuing training session?

      This link is for the current program. Scroll down and you'll find some info about Cisco Live sessions. I'm not sure if the values will change after the program change or not.

    How points will reflect when I watch Ciscolive sessions?

    • @Networkdojo
      @Networkdojo  4 роки тому

      You'll be able to manage your CE credits at ce.cisco.com/. After attending Cisco Live, you should be able to make a request for your credits. I'm pretty sure they double-check against your badge scans as you enter the sessions.
      The site is just turning over for the change. So hopefully within a few days they will have fully updated FAQ and catalogs for how many points you get for attending the different types of sessions at Cisco Live. But you can go to learningnetwork.cisco.com/s/cisco-continuing-education-program/ and see what the points have been under the old program. They may stay the same.

    If I take 4 CCNP courses in October 2020 and November 2020, do they expire to redeem my CE Instructor Led Training in Global Knowledge? I am currently CCNP Security and this expires in 2023 but I would like to redeem my CE credits in September 2023....

    • @Networkdojo
      @Networkdojo  3 роки тому

      If I recall correctly, CE credits are applied based on the date of the class/event. I don't know if you can hold on to them and then cash them in at a later time to push out the next recertificate date. Just like if you take an exam that recertifies you, it would take effect immediately.
      But check with certification support to be sure.

    what if i pass ccna march 2020 then pass the CyberOps Associate november 2020. ( I believe its gonna renew my ccna as well, and follow now the november 2020 expiration date)
    and then I recertify CyberOps Associate october 2023 via Continuing education. Does recertifying my CyberOps Associate via CEU renew my ccna as well?

    • @Networkdojo
      @Networkdojo  4 роки тому +1

      The CCNA can be renewed by passing an associate level exam, which the CyberOps Associate should count.
      The continuing education credits should renew both associate level certs at the same time. At least that is my understanding of things.

      @@Networkdojo ok sir last question: do i still need to pay AGAIN for my ccna to be renewed or I just need to complete my CEU credits, submit it and that's it? Just like comptia.

      @@Networkdojo can I recertify CCNA, CCNP Enterprise and CCIE Enterprise (the three of them) with CCDE written only?

    • @Networkdojo
      @Networkdojo  4 роки тому

      @@daverdz7348 Maybe. The current information only shows that the CCIE level would be recertified by an expert level written exam and not the NA/NP levels. But it would seem weird to recertify your IE and not also the lower levels.
