      I’m not sure. It pretty sure the bolt heads are 14mm.

    Hey man, I'm doing the same has you ! My engine is out now. Do you reuse the clutch of the 2.5 engine ? You video is super helpful and it really pumped me to do it ! Thanks a lot !

      The 2.5 didn’t come with a clutch from fusions. You use whatever clutch your transmission is. If it’s pairing with a mazdaspeed transmission, use a mazdaspeed clutch/flywheel.

      @@spillybuilt7491 Hey man, one last question, what did you use for the turbo feed and return ? I know that I need a Tee, but I don't know the size of the thread and for the return, I'm not sure which kit or part I should get. And his your speed still going strong with that 2.5 ? Thanks !

      Yes it’s still going! Almost 2k miles on the swap so far. And for my feed, I actually flipped my oem oil feed line upside down and trimmed it. Then I have a spin on oil filter conversion with a sandwich plate on it. Then just a fitting on that sandwich plate and 1/4” hose ran to the trimmed oil feed line.

      @@spillybuilt7491 Hey man been a while ! I finally finished my 2.5 conversion ! Did you got p2088 check engine light at the beginning ? I used all ford fusion timing component since they seems stronger. I was thinking maybe the vvt from ford is a bit different and the ECU need to adapt ? The car starts fine, but seems to be missing a bit of power. Idle is a bit sketchy and while doing strong acceleration, I'm getting misfire. If you could help me, it would be awesome ! I doubled check timing and oil passage, I'm out of clue.

    How would the oil feed / oil drain work for the 2.5 seeing it’s a different bottom end

      speedlife madzela I will be covering this in a future video. But basically tap into the oil pan for a return and t off of the oil pressure sensor for a feed

    what year motor did you use for the donor?

    You should really do the full parts list.

    Wait, so you can use 2.5 timing components on a speed 6? VVT actuator, exhaust sprocket and crank sprockets?

    • @spillybuilt7491
      @spillybuilt7491  2 роки тому

      Yup! You can swap them. You can NOT mix and match however. You have to use everything from 2.5 or everything from 2.3. This includes oil pump stuff
