Hello ma, please I've tried the pattern out and the armhole has a lot of gaping what could be the problem. Is it that the 1inch for the flap mark on the shirt you add it to the across chest measurement so after sewing you'll still have your exact chest measurement? Thank you

This is a male pattern. You can use your basic bodice pattern to cut yours. But make sure the neckline is the same as this pattern.

Hi you have said the shoulder measurements is 17" and divided by 4 doesn't work out at what you said can you explain please??

That was a mistake. The shoulder is 17 inches and was divided by 2.
